My perpetual grow always cranked to the max got me thinking if my dehuey quits on me im in trouble. Looked at reviews of 35 pint fridgidaire dehuey some discouraging ones and like 20% 1 star 8k reviews.

5% one star 2k reviews from my specific dealer on amazon.

I had mine for 1.5 years used pretty good 80% of its life with me. What brand yall rocking with and how long they last for?

Things are like 200$ and AI bot said generally most brands last about 2-3 years. I think Id buy mine again but just wondering what yall are using.

Frigidaire is junk now, and manufactured with low quality parts like all the other cheap ones are.. Somehow I've been lucky. The last one I bought like 7-8 years ago from them has lasted, and hasn't leaked oil or thrown any codes like so many of the reviews..

The old ones used to last like 10-20 years, and only expecting a few years use with the new ones these days is kind of ridiculous IMO.

What are some of the brands these old reliable ones are called? What would you search in the market to find one? About to try looking if I dont find anything I think Ill just buy a back up one and keep looking.

Ya I dont think its right to pay 200$ every year, two or three.

I don't know brands. I went on craigs list and bought old stuff with mechanical humidistats, they work with an external controller.

Make sure any used dehu actually removes humidity! A lot of newer used stuff operates but can't remove humidity because the refrigerant has leaked out.
