took snips 10days ago of the BPxICC 3&4. Took way too many and didn't have the heart to put in the compost. I left them in the plastic cups I initially put them in and wedged them in the bottom of the BG tent. 10 days later still looking healthy, goes to show how hardy cannabis is.

BG tent, having a hard time changing over to the Array, as the temps are alot lower the feeding has slowed, caught me out as I fed the evening before I decided to put them under the Array.
In hindsight, I should have moved them on thier dry cycle and fed appropriately to accommodate the LED.
Don't know if I should be upping the CalMg either, they seem to be showing signs of over watering and cold temps.
I'm thinking sort the environment first then address the deficiency if its still present?
Any advise would be welcome, I'm new to full LED grows.

Cheers Dudes... and Dudettes

ESB growing like a hedge, super vigorous, the clones I took 7 days ago have started to root.
2 maybe 3 stand outs of the 9 female so far. This will most probably change numerous times over the duration.
I've done a little reading on ESB over the last few nights. There was a description Oldtimer posted yrs ago comparing the 55-60day pheno with Romberry and the 70+ finisher being more cerebral... What I'm looking for tbh. I know these are not directly from OT1 but surely this wouldn't be far from what I can expect out of FDM's worked line?
If this is so then 1 in particular has all the traits associated with a 70+ Sat. Long node spacing, crazy growth, 6" taller than the rest too. Only time will tell I suppose, long way to go yet.
There the same you get early ones and later ones the later ones are the nigerian x skunk(es) leaning ones so there more cerebral and potent vs the earlier more (b)blue influenced ones i like both but later is better if thats the effect u after

Thanks for clarification dude, I'm sure il like both also. Definitely after the head high though, I've been reading about the ES and Celia also the LOT5. Quite a cult following OT has, I knew of him but didn't realise the impact he has had. Shame he doesn't get spoken of more often, I'm sure he should be in the same breath as Sam, Rob, Scott, Neville and so on.

Well i wouldn't have put sam there in the same breath personally i dont think he bred anything entirely himself cos if he did why leave haze the way it was/is especially when its your "fave smoke" even if all you smoke is dry sift makes 0 sense to me anyway he used to also claim to have bred cali o as well and thats straight up bs they shared the same parent acapulco x mazari (balkhi) just the thai was substituted in place with cali o where as it would have been lumbo gold if it was skunk#1 but thats where that ends it aint his but yes i agree 100%oldtimer1 did alot not so much just genetics the guy helped alot of folks on the forums as well

Fucking hell dude, I thought I was clued up on Canna history! seems like you've forgotten more than I know. I was aware of Aeric77 found the cali o cut. never knew Sam claimed to have bred it.

I knew there was shade on Sam for various reasons, didnt know he was that up his own arse though

I can tell dude! I'm a big fan of the lore and history myself, my favourite read was Madjag, he then appeared on the breeders syndicate. Amazing stories man, you could live it, listening to him tell his tales whilst looking at his photos and references.

You would never have known I took the biggest one out! Bit gutted cause she/he was the most vigorous, had a wonderful structure and had the smelliest stem rub. I've kept a cut though so maybe it will lose the trait?

Heavily variegated ESB leaf close ups.
stem rub is very, very berry, like actual growing fruit. Not the Berry smell I've associated with cannabis, if that makes sense?

I don't think he was involved with any breeding directly, he was famous for growing in Madjag canyon, he and his friends called themselves "Wizard of the rim" they grew pot in the 70's, 80's which was famous in the surrounding areas, mixed with BOEL, Hells Angels and the whole counter culture.
check out his site if you want a nice read. https://madjag.com/

I found he story super interesting... not sure what he contributed to Canna as a whole, except maybe the first ones to incorporate marketing?;)
Good podcast episodes to listen to in the garden.

BG's looking alot better this morning, must have been the light intensity. Had the Array on 60%. Reduced it too 20% last night!
At 60% the ppfd on my phone app was showing 320. I didn't think that was too high, considering they've been under the 2 315HDE-E 's?

any of you guys hot experience with RF? I'm unfortunate in a way but fortunate in another.... my neighbour is well in to his HAM radio, like anal in to it. I had issues years before and had to rig everything out with shielded gear and everything was OK. At some point something went wrong with my elec meter and it wiped the screen(I'm guessing power surge) that caused an almighty noise on his fucking radios... got a new Meter fitted and everything was OK. There is 5 yrs between the meter fucking up and new one fitted, house was empty. This evening though the fucker tells me the noise is back at 8.30, it's on a timer and it's loud! Ffs, so I go and put EMI filters on the 1 500w array and the 2 315hde-e s and its still there apparently. I'm running a 8 way contractor with only 2 digi ballasts plugged in. there's a max of 1400watt pulling up there so something is fucked or the new ARRAY is blowing my cover

Welcome to the jungle... ESB giving it large, going to have my hands full by here.
Had to get rid of a male yesterday so there is 7 left in here, can't see any more male flowers so hopefully no more moving and pulling. Lots of supercropping coming up. 20240528_202423.jpg

Found the culprit for the RF interference. A green power contactor around 7yrs old. Spoke with the lovely chaps as Migro today too and they reassured me that they have tested and passed to UK standards so no RF leakage.

ESB looking fucking huge. Big ole defol in 4 days then alot of tucking and weaving to try and tame them a little. I wanted them flipped 2 weeks prior but I wasn't happy with thier health.
looks like I'm going to be getting some sticky arm hair soon, it's been a while!
