Well this is a nice Idea, however, it will confuse some, and isn't 100% true...
Tric's will tell you when to pull, as long as these first steps have been met, and seriously, many newbies handle their buds so much, that tea colored tric's are the damaged Tric's...
First- Plant will stop making white hairs... if you have any white hairs on any buds... it's too soon for that bud...
Second- Plants hairs will recede into bud, and bud will start to plump up...
Then after these two things happen....
THEN CHECK FOR Tric's....
Shoot for the largest % of Milky/White... 90% good...
Healthy Plant will make Clear colored Tric's until the day you harvest. so you can never get all milky... there will always be clear...
Amber/Tea colored Tric's... These are degraded... They have lost the THC, some or all of it... The amber Tric's do not get you high...
The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...The amber Tric's do not get you high...
OK... The amber Tric's do not get you high... and are cause by either excessive touching leaf... or burnt bud.... or a fully ripe ready to harvest plant....
As soon as you see amber/tea colored tops on the Tric's on a healthy plant then it's harvest time...
Good Luck!
Just not true. No matter how many times you say, it is not true. Amber trics are not ruined, they most cetainly knock the snot out of you. And you will be quite high when you fall asleep. It another drug being synthesized. CBD. This a different medicine. that is highly valued for some purposes like Cancer. OK?
When you pick, determines the nature and quality of the high, not the strength. Strength is from the density of tricomes per gram dry. And that from plant health and strain.
So, it is almost a good set of guidelines, but, not after you began repeating that.
Handling - very good point. If I must squeeze it won't be on the cola and it will be the same lower bud, each time.
Always making new clear ones - weird at first, throws off the count
But, I must say, from there it is personal preference and local knowledge of your grow. I like a clear strong sativa during the day. For that I begin to look when 50% of the hairs are brown.
I then sample with a USB microscope and I don't want to see all cloudy. I like it when some are still beginning to get cloudy and there are almost no amber, at all yet. It is a process and not a lock-step for all tricomes, at the same time.
For evening stuff. I let a more Indica dominate get to 20% Amber. CBD is a good high, but it will put me to sleep in a few hours.
Hope this helps.
It occurs to me you mean the light burned tricomes.
Yeah, if they are light burn and bleached like this leaf of WW I grew, I couldn't smoke it. And that is saying a lot. However, I was able to do a BHO and extract good oil. The flavor of those burned ones....Do not get you high. .Do not get you high. .Do not get you high.
