ChloroBA C2 LED grow light

Anyone considering buying ANY LED grow light from Bysen LED aka Shenzhen Baisheng Semiconductor Lighting Co Ltd should be made aware that Bysen LED owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) along with long time sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang) have been ripping off SEVERAL customers in Canada, United States and the EU on a price fixing scam related to the new ChloroBA C2 LED grow light. How do I know this? Pretty simple, they ripped me off for a $45,000USD deposit on an order for 250 of the ChloroBA C2 LED grow lights.

I had agreed to assist in the marketing and distribution of the ChloroBA C2 in North America back in the fall of 2013. I was approached by Steven (Guo Jing) Yang and William Tang (Tong) and subsequently agreed to purchase the product (in bulk) for USD $300 per unit, the first order which would be 250 units for drop ship to north american customers that would be acquired through the web domains www.chloroba.com, www.chloroba.ca, www.chlorobaled.com and www.chlorobaled.ca (all of which are owned and operated by me). I had planned the retail price to be $499USD per unit, which is a fair price for a unit of this quality and a very decent return on my investment as far as a business opportunity is concerned.

To make a long story short, the owner of Bysen LED Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang) began marketing the ChloroBA C2 direct to consumers at the INSANE price of $1499 USD and then went as far as sending anyone retailing LED grow lights online an email offering the ChloroBA C2 for $330USD providing that they purchase the original unit for the full price of $1499. The hook was that Bysen would protect the massive profit margins of around $1100 USD per unit by only selling the ChloroBA C2 direct to consumers for this outrageous price and subsequently the resellers would agree to also charge NO LESS than $1499 for the chloroBA C2 in an attempt to orchestrate a price fixing scheme, create huge demand based on the resellers marketing push and them cut them out completely and go direct and collect HUGE profits!

Around the first week of January Bysen LED owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang) decide that based on the current success of their plan they would raise the wholesale price of the ChloroBA C2 led grow light to $1000USD. Needless to say everyone involved (including myself) were outraged at this bait and switch we were all just swindled into. Myself, I bowed out and told Bysen manager William Tang that he was a complete moron and that I wanted my $45,000 USD deposit returned and that Tang and everyone else involved could shove the ChloroBA C2 up their asses because there is NO WAY IN HELL that a light that costs around $120USD to manufacture is worth a dime over $500 at retail!!!!

This is where the Chinese clusterfuck starts... All of a sudden William Tang is quitting Bysen LED because of the tragedy that has occurred, he claims Yang has lost his mind and that now I will be dealing with his replacement Shawn Tang (kinda sounds fishy right... William Tang, William Tong turns into Shawn Tang who also calls himself Shawn Tong). Anyways, my wholesale price is now offered at $800 per unit for the C2, I decline. At this time I have sent several emails to William Tang and cc'd Shawn Tang and Steven Yang on these emails asking for the return of my $45,000 deposit. And as you can probably imagine I am getting the complete run around from these scammers. Next thing that happens, Chinese new year approaches where everyone in China is on holidays for the next 2-3 weeks! Meanwhile my $45K is STILL in limbo... So, I get an email from Shawn out of the blue agreeing my new wholesale price is $389USD per unit plus another $67.50 to drop ship into North America. Obviously there is a disagreement about how the chinese will split profits and this is why the prices are all over the map at this point. At this point I am like whatever, I will sell the 250 ChloroBA C2 units and get my investment back, call it lesson learned and never deal with these scammers again. I just want my money back at this point!!! (As you can see in the image attached Shawn Tong acknowledges that 100 of the C2 units are ready to go before Chinese New Year starts and he requests that I send the remaining money to the new Bysen LED company bank account. I request that Shawn ships the 100 units that are completed to my North American address and I will pay for the remaining 150 units when they are ready to go after the new year. Obviously I am VERY leery of sending them another dime at this point given the gong show.I figured if I get the 100 units I can cut my losses and move on. I WAS NOT prepared for what happened next!

William Tang is now missing in action and wont return an email or skype message and Shawn Tang is telling me he (William) has now stolen every customers money and disappeared... BULLSHIT!!!! This is a well documented Chinese scam tactic that is well publicized on the internet, my boss ripped you off, you sent money to the wrong bank account, so sorry for your loss... Go FUCK yourselves Steven Yang, William Tang and Shawn Tong!!! I've been dealing in China for 5 years with several of the LED grow light manufacturers and have confirmed that indeed William Tang is still the manager over at Bysen. So, here I sit out $45,000USD and I'm in the middle of a HUGE scam orchestrated by Bysen LED owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang). I'm guessing that they think if they keep my money that I will just eventually disappear because I really have no legal recourse in the communist country of China.

How wrong they are! I have been in contact with the Chinese police department in Shenzhen as well as the Chinese trade council here in North America and criminal charges are pending at this time. In the meantime I have put up the www.chloroba.com website to warn potential customers of the underhanded business dealings of Bysen LED and the ChloroBA C2 LED grow light scam. I am compiling all of the evidence (which is overwhelmingly conclusive against Bysen) and posting it all on the www.chloroba.com website. In addition, I have been receiving SEVERAL submissions from retail customers that have broken ChloroBA C2 grow lights and cannot get warranty support from Bysen as well as online resellers that have lost as much as $10,000 USD in the Bysen LED ChloroBA C2 scam.

I have dealt with many of the LED grow light manufacturers in Shenzhen over the past 5 years and I can assure every single one of you that Bysen LED will leave you hanging on warranty if they don't decide to just keep your money. In fact they screwed me on over $80K on warranty over a 3 year period in addition to the $45K deposit on the chloroBA LED fiasco.

The moral of this story is that Bysen LED WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH BYSEN LED!!!

As for my $45,000... Well if I do get it back I will be surprised, however in the meantime I still own these cocksuckers online and will continue to post the overwhelming evidence of the underhanded business dealings of Shenzhen Baisheng Semiconductor Lighting Company Ltd aka Bysen LED and owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang).

Bysen LED, Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang), please consider the $45,000 USD you stole from me a downpayment on your demise!

If anyone has evidence of the underhanded dealings of Bysen LED feel free to post your experiences here and at www.chloroba.com

If you are purchasing a LED grow light anytime soon keep this in mind...

1) DO NOT deal with anyone offering to sell you a light at an incredible price that uses a free email service like hotmail or gmail, YOU WILL be scammed! Insist to see an email using in the format of [email protected], 98% of the sellers listed on Alibaba can't provide this because they are commissioned students that make about 3 dollars a day fencing garbage for people like Bysen owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang).

2) DO NOT send money via wire transfer or western union or YOU WILL be scammed! Tell the little monkeys you prefer to use Paypal. Paypal verifies every users identity and offers protection in terms of insurance against fraud. Consider Paypal the condom that protects you from Chinese scam disease ;)

3) Buy from a company based in north america that has stock on hand and ships the product from a north american address. This is your best chance at getting warranty support from a reputable company. If the unit is drop shipped out of china you can consider the warranty a figment of your imagination as the chinese have no intention of honoring this warranty. They will tell you what you want to hear... 3 year comprehensive warranty, 255w lights that produce 5 pounds of bud per plant, etc, etc... all bullshit.

Anyways, I will update this thread as the evidence is released and as my particular case unfolds.

Peace!

Damn that's fucked up man...sorry to hear. Hope you get this resolved and at least a partial recovery of your funds.
Not likely but at least Bysen LED has been exposed and the ChloroBA LED grow light is hopefully dead in the water at anything more than $300. Learn from my misfortune and avoid dealing with Bysen LED at all cost!

They screwed you out of $80,000 and then you sent them a $45,000 deposit on top of that? And you already knew they were crooks? How is it that you own them online? Give me $125.000 and I'll let you "own" me online, too!

Sorry for the double thread mods, perhaps one of you could combine the two threads into one... the captcha verification system messed up the original post attempt... sorry again.

the $80K was based on warranty they dragged out over a 5 year period dating back to the original UFO days... units had to be completely replaced at my cost and Bysen had promised to replace or repair the units at their expense as per their 3 year warranty, this never happened... go figure. In the scope of things the $80K was a small amount when considered over 5 years. How do I own them online? Well, for starters they have about a million USD invested into the development and marketing of the chloroba C2 and I own the keyword loaded domains where I can publish the details of this scam... I'd consider that "owning" their asses online. And mark my word, had you screwed me in Florida for $80K or even $10K I'd be showing up on your doorstep and this thread would have never been started ;) One of the downfalls in dealing with a communist country... Anyways, this thread isn't meant to start a war, its here to educate the north american consumers as to the underhanded dealings of Bysen LED and the ChloroBA C2 LED grow light scam :)

Bysen sent me a Spammy email trying to sell me the Chloro, if I can sell it to 9 of my customers for $1499, they'd give me the 10th for free... (this negates the $500 per day I make already, how?)

Whoever sent that email, smoke some more crack.... Idiots.

I know some of the owners of Bysen, just based on dealing with them legally, (they have illegally used my company name on some of their products on Alibaba) I've had to put the fire under their ass a few times already, I'll do it again.

If you need any info from me regarding Bysen, they are crooks and I am willing to help you bring them down.

They are trying to cut out the people that made them who they are and finding out the hard way that when you start screwing with your foundation that the entire structure will eventually collapse. Bysen is well known by the major players in this industry as being VERY sketchy to deal with at the best of times. What is needed is a North American based manufacturer that can turn out a high quality LED grow light at a mainstream price point. Get the Chinese scammers right out of the game and let some good old fashioned USA based competition take this industry to the next level. Trying to cut corners by taking our tech ideas to China seems appealing from a profit margin standpoint at first but you soon learn that the Chinese will use your brand name and the reputation you have built over time and try to hijack your success by going direct. This is exactly what has happened to Bysen and the sooner a USA or Canadian manufacturer steps up to the plate the better! Get rid of the underhanded companies like Bysen, Houyi, Cidly and a few more!!!

I have been haggling back and forth with these guys for like 2 weeks now. I am talking to someone called John Carter (lol) and he is really persistant that I buy one. He said If I bought 100 units he would sell the to me for 750 each. But in the meantime they are 1500. I am sure they are good lights but I work for a major led flashlight company and cannot see the justification for the price of these. I am really glad you posted this because I am going to stay away from these crooks. I have a lot of connections in China, I will see what they can dig up on these people as well.

You know EXACTLY what I am talking about with Bysen it seems... We sure aren't alone out there, I'm getting feedback from current employees of Bysen as well as a LOT of unhappy customers that went direct and bought Bysen product through a student online marketer and now that there are warranty issues the student is nowhere to be found. I think this needs to be addressed in this thread so that anyone in here that is considering buying from china direct is aware that the multitude of similar listing on websites like Alibaba coming from the same company for the same product are because companies like Bysen hire freshly graduated university students every year after Chinese new year as interns and their primary job is to spam the forums and online China business listings in hopes that someone will stumble upon their ad and contact them as a company representative. The problem here is that the student isn't actually hired directly by bysen but rather through a third party sales trading company that has a direct relationship with the owner of the manufacturing company. This causes problems like you are seeing with my case where the company and the sales manager who has his own company set up for tax reasons work together to steal or avoid warranty liability. Check out the skype log between myself and Andy Lau from Bysen ([email protected], ironically the same as shawn tong's email...). In the discussion you can clearly see how the game of pass the buck is played by the chinese. I specifically ask for proof and the question is completely ignored... Anyways, don't ever deal with a student marketer, deal only with an actual manager of the company that uses PAYPAL. If the person you are dealing with can't show you a manufacturing company certificate issued by the Chinese Government and request your money be sent to a bank account that bears that EXACT name then you aren't dealing with the manufacturer. Be careful, these slippery little fukkers have been perfecting this art of scamming north american companies for a LONG, LONG time and this is EXACTLY the reason why companies like Nike and others are cutting ALL ties with these little monkeys!!! Buy MADE IN USA!!!!

Keep in mind, the first time I was offered in on the distribution of the ChloroBA LED the wholesale price was $300 drop shipped ANYWHERE in north america. $1499 Is a complete rip off! "John Carter", sounds legit to me, lmao....

BUMP............are you going to answer my question chlorobac2led??????????...........you came in here adamantly&frequently claiming MAJOR fraud by Bysen led, they replied by showing documentations of your(?) wire transfer to another company. Don't like Chinese business practices and think their chloroba panel is insanely overpriced, but if magnum led and hydrogrow led are behind this website/riu thread just to knock down competition then it's fucking completely shameful.

CAN YOU CLEAR THIS UP FOR ME AND TELL ME I"M WRONG?!?!?!?!? why is cammie mckensie (owner of HGL)involved on your website after he/she 's past reputation, maybe everyone needs a refresher on this person's wonderful history of defrauding honest people out of $$$$.
