I for one TY very much for doing this,very good info.
I'm in Texas and damn it kills me to the point now, I just stop growing for
3 months.Its just to damn hot.Not to mention the damn elec.BILL.
I'm the Mod over this sub forum,So if you ever need anything just holler.
Just irks the shit out of me you had to go thru the damn trolls,idiots,and ppl that dont even
grow spouting shit! You handled it very well!!!

im in south florida, no point even tryin to grow right now but I got somethin special in the works, all parts are here just waiting til mid august to start@ GG

I could grow,But for me paying the damn A/C for a 20x10 with 10ft ceilings Op,plus a 2500sqft house kills me.
1 of the reasons im here looking to up grade,To some leds...
yep, I could do it but I plan accordingly and use mid june to mid august as a shut down/clean/refurb time, no biggie

Thank you beech. Glad you found some good in here. Led's are really hitting their stride now. This next run will be a more "full scale" run and will let some of the bigger hps guys relate more hopefully.

I was in a grocery store today for work. Suit and tie as usual. And when a I walked past the check out there was herbman(subcool's helper). I said "weednerds" "what's up herbman" and he was shocked a guy in a suit and tie giving the weednerd shout out.

Hahah. He didn't even realize what was going on. I wasn't really in the position to stop and talk about mj at the time. Sub knows me as a local. He has come over to me out of his way at a few cups and event...but he just knows me as a local from the area...I don't think he has any idea I'm greengenes...or who gg even is. mendo dope put out a "music video" and they have clips from a few a few different gardens. That led garden(I believe OG steves) being one of them. And you can notice that some of the modules are out.

Ya, it's just WW. But that is because it's main purpose is to be used as a flowering light.
It wasn't planned to be this way...but I pretty much designed a perfect veg light for a 4x4+ space. The only thing I would do is change the 3K's to 5K's if it was strictly going to be used for veg.
They haven't been under different lights(CW and WW) for very long. Most of the vegging was done under the 3K DIY and everything seems normal and fine. I stuck the shorter plants under the CW when I put them up just based on theory. Not really noticing anything note worthy in difference so far under CW vs WW.
Would be interesting if you had flowered plants under those CW, have you?
Maybe since CW are more efficient in lightput compared to WW, this could compensate for the lack in the red region, or could even be better.
Or instead of CW maybe NW, which still puts more light out then WW.
I know the light should be redish for flower, but maybe ++photons>= photomorphogenesis, maybe it makes them even more compact and dense and resinous
