Well new coment here for other new grpwers like me: i notice yellowing going on with my 2 weeks old seedlings, i didnt want to use any ferts at such a young stage, so i decide to give st a chance, and it worked wonders, my plants came back to riginal green color and, root formation went more agresive, i was thinking they where about to die, but they recover and now, im about to transplant to ffof, it say 1/4 of a teaspoon i went with half of that just to be in the safe side!! I think for the people that doesnt work its because THEY OVER DO IT AND THEN BLAME ST!!

Thanks for explaining that Bricktop. Appreciate it... I really didn't feel like having to explain that.. LOL.

You know, you would think some of these people would have the intelligence to use Google to do research and look up their questions instead of asking us to explain it all. Just MO though.

peace..
THEN WHY U CREATE THIS IF WHEN PEOPLE ASK U QUESTIONS U DONT FELL LIKE ANSWERING? AND THEN IN OTHER WORDS CALLING THEM RETARDS FOR NOT USING GOOGLE? THEN DON OPEN TREATS IF YOU JUST DONT FELL LIKE HELPING!! FOR ME THE ONLY FUCKTARD IS U DOOD!!

LMFAO!! What I think BrickTop and the other Poster meant was - Why not do a little Resarch(Google) then come on the Forum and ask IF any one has any Knowledge OR Experience with said Product, Method...? Whatever...I always Google 1st and don't just look at one Site or Thread...I read many(and I read between the Lines) saves a lot of time, then I will maybe Post/Ask IF anyone has used, Tried this...or that...

And Whats with all the "SHOUTING!!"

I see a difference in the plants that receive super thrive vs the ones that don't. It isn't that expensive and if your using a drop a gallon ... seriously lolol. I don't see where all this hate is coming from but when someone asks a question you guys should respond nicer.

1 tablespoon per gallon on seedlings = death

perhaps it may work on a large healthy plant but IMO 1 drop per gallon is plenty

as experiment I once did 5 drops to a gallon on some clones and it killed them all in 2 days

people please follow the directions and always remember LESS IS MORE
I just bought the shit an hour ago MAINTENCE: weekly/MNTHLY: 1/ 4TSP./GAL: 3 OZ/ 100 GALS
transplanting: 1 TSP/GAL

This is what was on my SuperThrive label:

QUANTITIES often reported successful for MOST purposes-
for active development or resisting stress: 3 FLUID OUNCES PER 100 GALLONS water (100 ml. per 400 liters), (1 tablespoonful per 15 gallons), (1/4 teaspoonful per gallon). (2 drops or 1 minim per large cupful) 1 drop per small cupful).

FOLLOW-UP or DAILY or “CONSTANTLY”, especially very small, soft, tender plants: one fluid ounce per 500 U.S. gallons of water (30 ml. per 1,900 liters), (1 ml. per 60 liters), (1 minim per gallon or 4 liters).

BARE-ROOT 15 or 30 MINUTE SOAKING ROOTS of TREES and SHRUBS(except roses): 1 fluid ounce per 5 gallons. ROSES and tender plants: One fl. oz. per 20 gallons. BALL and BURLAP trees and shrubs can be soaked, until air bubbles out, in 1 fl. oz. per 5 gallons water.

REVIVING TREES and SHRUBS: 20 fl. oz. per 100 gallons, (Rarely, up to 2 fl. oz. per gal). Once. Then 3 fl. oz. per 100 gallons, from time to time.

HYDROSEEDING: 1/2 fl. oz. per 100 gal. SOWING SEED: 3 oz. per 100 gal.
I never use it. For transplants I do the initial wetting/watering with water that has 1/4 strength bloom nutes. I feel the PK helps. Two days later I feed normally (veg nutes). I rarely have any transplant stress or slow down.

Interesting read so you don't use anything or what do you use then?
I think most people use SuperThrive for the auxins. (That might be what they see benefits from and think it's vitamins and stuff.). If you're in soil and wanted a different source of auxins, kelp would be a good choice.

You have to be a little careful. Like everything with cannabis, less is more. If you overdo kelp (or superthrive) you can get stretching.

You're new to growing. You should keep it as simple as possible, as few ingredients as possible. It's common for newbies to pick and choose all the good things they've read about, thinking a little of everything will be good. Any one of those things might be good. But you won't know until you try them. It's better to try them methodically, a different one each grow, so you have something to compare to. It's best to start plain vanilla so you know what that looks like too. You should plan on doing nothing but that until you've grown 2-3 times. By that time you'll lose some of that unhealthy passion to use a lot of stuff. (You'll also have a good base of experience to "read" your plants and know what a supplement is doing to them.).

Hello again! Hope everyone is having a great day so far.. or a great night. Wherever your at.. hope your doing great. I know I am. ;)

Just trying to help the noobies with some nice informative information about how to use Superthrive properly, with your cannabis plants.

Superthrive is a very very potent additive. Some people think that its nothing more than a nutrient. Well, its more than that. Superthrive contains a whole line of complete micro nutrients and mirco vitamins (such as B1) which Cannabis plants love to absorb. ST also contains many of the micro-nutrients and micro-vitamins and trace elements.. that alot of today's nutrient brands don't have.

Superthrive should only be used during the veg cycles of the cannabis plants life. You shouldn't use it during flowering, or on a plant that has started to flower.

Superthrive also contains synthetic Auxins, NAA (1-naphthaleneacetic acid) which isn't good for foliar feeding at all. However, the roots LOVE the synthetic auxins.. which helps the plant develop more bigger and more robust root systems.. therefore.. we all know that the bigger the roots.. and the more roots a plant has.. the bigger; healthier; and healthier the plant will be. More bigger roots, also means bigger more robust buds by harvest time as well. Once again, use it foliar and your plant will stretch (or if you use too much of it) too much will create freaks, not fun best place for auxins are the roots (unless you're into stretchy plants).

Also, Superthrive should only be used once.. maybe twice.. per plant. Any more doses than that, per plant.. will lead to more problems than you want.

Lastly, Superthrive has a mix ratio.. that's the exact same as if you were mixing up a batch of Molasses and water. So once again, the general rule of thumb for mixing Superthrive, is 1tbspn per gallon of water. Stick to that, and only use it once.. twice at the MAX.. and your plants will be just fine. But again, its not something you use on a weekly/monthly basis. It's just a one time (maybe two time) thing.

Oh, and before I forget.. Superthrive is also well known.. for bringing sick plants.. back to life. So, if you ever have a plant that seems sick.. or seems like its not doing very well?? Mix up a 1tbspn per gallon of water.. and give it a watering.. and within two days.. that plant will be back to life in no time.. and it will look 200% better than it did before it received the ST/h20 mix. It will make the stems more robust and stronger; it will make the plants leafs bigger.. and just overall bring the plant back to life.. only it comes back 200% healthier than it ever was.

I hope I have cleared up some of the confusion about using Superthrive with your cannabis plants. If I helped just one person, than typing this up was worth it.

If you have any other questions about the subject, feel free to send me a msg here on the site.. and I'll get back with you ASAP.

Thanks for reading everyone.
