do i need keep the pump on 24/7 or do i put it on a timer like 30 mins on 30 mins off
Yes keep pump on when veg. 24/7. The new ultra led has all custom settings from lights
To pump cycles. If u set it on tomato/ pepper setting it will run 24/7. When germinating
It runs like 20/4. I beleive
people usually mist before the lights turn off, you dont want to heat up the water thats sitting on the plant

Cool Thanks....

Gotta Question: I am going to be switchin to flowering today... My plan is to flush out the REZ... Takes some pix for everyones pleasure. Then swap the bulbs to the 2700k ones I bought and put fresh water in the rez (with 1.5 AG nute tabs)... then turn the lights back on for the rest of the day until shut the lights off and start the 12/12 cycle... does that sound right.. Help a nigga out!
Yes sounds right.. I change me resevoir every 7 days u can go 14 days too, then I put in fresh nutes. I use a 3 part system from gen hydroponics called the Flora series.it consists of 3 bottles super easy to use.. Google general hydroponics and check it out.

A little over 2 weeks into flowering, these babies are really starting to take off, just found out this past week that the two big front ones are both females(hairs popping out everywhere!! FloraNova Bloom is the shit), and the back one is still currently unknown however it has nowhere near the bush that the other two have, its pretty ridiculous how bushy its getting in there. I've made clones already of both these females, knowing that Ive been flowering already, was kind of an issue, but I went ahead and did it anyways, just to have something else growing to watch haha. Feminized white widow, and Fem Dutch Passions Autoflowering Taiga coming in the mail soon, can't wait to start that up. New 150 watt hps light also goin on, has been making a difference these passed 2-3 days, glad I invested.
Looking good.. I would only put up to 2 plants in there Max!

5 are currently in there. All are super healthy looking! 1 died early on and I broke one. I actually stuck the broken one in a pod in the "new garden" and it's growing some roots, so not all was lost. I do use the soft lights in my "lamps". I had been curious about the red spectrums. I should add that I'm lucky enough to live in a spot where I can take advantage of nice sunlight coming in the day as well. I don't have to have my babies stuck in a closet. I also invested in the ff nutes and that was a GOOD investment. I never had a ph problem and I noticed the growth between this grow and my previous as been AWESOME!! This lighting is the only thing baffling me at this point, since I was formerly prone to mother nature doing her thing.
I would only put 2 plants max in there sue......

Found these replacement LED bulbs to replace cfl aerogarden grow bulbs on amazon might be an alternative for someone that has cfl aerogarden and can't afford to buy new led ag $29.00. Thought I'd pass along I might get them for the original 7 pod ag I just got on eBay for $35 I'm planning on using for cloning and seed starting then transplant to 5 gal bucket RDWC System

you can grow just as much bud in the AG as you could almost any grow, if you have sufficient lights, and meet the standards of the plants, you can do anything. From wat i have seen, with harvest pics, you can get an ounce per place with some good CFL's, and easily 3 if you have a big enough HPS, like anything, if you throw a HPS in there, its guarantee success :D
i realize this is super old thread but i wish i found it earlier when i was arguing with some people about aeroponic yields. dude was saying expect a pound with 1000 watts over 36 sites.... lol. i thought he shouldnt be growing anymore.

Very nice scrog. Im more of a sog guy myself. How much did you yeild per sf? How much veg time? How long did iy take to trim all that?

I'm chill, believe me. These videos are taken apon request, not to show the perfect yielding garden. Nothing is sugar coated. Is now setup as a continuous yield, and is nearly impossible to gather the information you requested. Yield size is only important to people whom want to brag, and is not important to me. I'll leave it at, I do very well.

I don't appreciate anyone getting a "lol" out of telling me I "shouldnt be growing anymore", or skipping off to a different thread and bringing it up, ......again. Especially those whom haven't gone through it themselves and are new to the Aeroflo36. It's not funny and makes you sound as if you were a noob.

Did I miss something? Yield size is important to anyone who wants to gro to make any $ honestly your big elaborate gut bucket aquaponics shit is a joke I bet u came out of pocket in the end on it. What u veg them things for 6 months? And what u going to do with all that popcorn? A jungle mass like u have there isn't going to get enough light penetration to do shit. That should be outside where sunlight will light it up. Talk about wanting to brag look who is seeking who out to throw a couple videos of some weak ass looking buds.

Wow, So you sarted mocking me here, too...
This shits gonna end..

..honestly your big elaborate gut bucket aquaponics shit is a joke
Thats a first;...whats a "gut bucket"? My system is Aeroponics. Joke or not, "you" haven't shown anything worth braging for years, let alone that you didnt have a "partner" with... Have you ever grow by yourself; without a "partner". Have you ever grown in anything, partner or not, from start to finish what isn't in soil or ebb&flow.

Lets stop talking about my "shit, thats a joke", for a min and roast you for a bit. Here's what you posted. You started your first Ebb&Flow in June, and growing in Sep 2012 with little to show. In 2013, you were still trying (complaininh all the way), with your "partner", and have to be put in your place a couple of times, by more experienced hydro growers for your attitude.
You began to show promise
(https://www.rollitup.org/t/newbies-first-ebb-and-flow-what-you-think.536630/#post-7582625), but I'm guessing your parnell had more experience and money to back it.
Come on really guys why would anyone want to grow with any kind of hydroponics. It cost way more to run, it has way more things that could go wrong, house can get flooded, nutes are more sensitive and to much to add, I have been doing ebb and flow with a friend for a year now and it is clearly way harder and more work than I nice easy soil grow. And u get better tasting herb. For what? A lil more yield it would have to grow twice as much or more to even come close to as efficient as good ol soil. I have just had one crazy year of growing with ebb and flow.and soil is imho way easier and smarter to do than any hydro.
You didnt even know you could get any weight.
Pound plants huh? How long it take to get pounders and can you have more than one plant per thousand watt light
or I shall ask how many pound plants fit under three one thousand watt digital ballast using magnum xxxl hoods and what system and how long start to finish? I'll do any system that pulls pounders dried and cured.
So you started SOG...
IMAG0222.jpg He got busted, and by Jan 2014.
Here's more of your grow. Looks like it didn't go as planed..
picture020.jpg

By Feb od 2014, you had a couple of nice wet buds. (If they're yours. Again dated Dec.2012, hmmm)
2012-12-30-12-44-24_photo.jpg

Something weird though, the dates in the pictures don't line up.This one says 2012 for some reason.... hmmm. I'm guessing pre-Ebb&Flow, in soil. But you did state
those are grown ebb and flow hydro all the way. I never said it was hard. my partner just made it a pain in the ass and I was irritated at the time.

IMAG0172.jpg
For your new stuff..picture019.jpg
I really don't see how you could be dogging someone else.
You have a few more, little grows in between, but I think the reader gets the point. Anyone can see your posts, here cupcake...

And what u going to do with all that popcorn?
I'd suggest buying a better computer to view my grow as I have no popcorn, ...or maybe youre confused on what popcorn is. It's a continuous grow with the older plants on the far side. Any "popcorn" is pruned on week 3-5. That row of 6 plants are 5 ft wide and about 17-19ft long.
20160114_051552.jpgThis pic above has still a few weeks to go. Where exactly do you see, "weak ass looking buds"?

A jungle mass like u have there isn't going to get enough light penetration to do shit.
That "jungle mass" is called a canopy, and is intentionally designed not to let light through. I simply don't have the room to grow them, and have to prune heavy from day 1, so they fit in flower.

For me...
It's no secret I'm a novice with Aquaponics, and I've never said differently. Comming from a hydro back ground, I built this in June 15' on a whim, and have had 1 test grow (shown in the last video)and this grow now(shown in the 3rd video), and because I know you have 0% experience with Aqua, I'll tell you it takes about 6 months to cycle the tanks. Do the math... I do well over "g per watt".

Is it the biggest yielding system? No.

Will I go back to normal hydro? Hell no.

I will say, I haven't worked out all the kinks yet, but i will. Its one of a kind, and I'm not afraid to show off its downsides and faults.

Yield size is important to anyone who wants to gro to make any $
Quality is what's important, not yield. Anyone that says different (over an Oz a week) is growing illegally, and one more thing that I'm NOT doing. I follow my states rules, and I have a legitimate reason to medicate. I'm not saying I'm against Recreational, but I grow "openly" in the community, and my grow is less than 25 ft from the police station and town hall. I follow rules for obvious reasons.

I bet u came out of pocket in the end on it.
Although most of my equipment is recycled from older systems, I chose this method of grow, not because it's easy, but because it's hard and interesting. I own a hydro store and wanted a display for people to "want" to grow. Do I use RIU to sell merchandise? No. I see guys like you come in a dime a dosen and buy crap, yes, crap; which most of the fortune 500 stuff is; with the "oh, I'm never wrong" attitude. Do what you want, but leave me the hell out of it. My only goal is to inspire and learn.

Talk about wanting to brag look who is seeking who out to throw a couple videos of some weak ass looking buds.
Im not bragging, and I have never posted in this thread before, if you weren't talking about me, I would have no reason to start now. I'm just showing the reader whom you're laughing about.

Wisdom talks, bullshit walks.. youre too hot tempered with those quick gabs, grow up.

I remain solid on the fact that if u pull 1# off a 1000 watt bulb with 36 sites on an aeroflo2 that u arent doing it right. But i could be wrong cuz i havent done it. I know i can get over a pound on ebb and flo with 1000 so i would think it would be more with aeroflo.
And mr know it all it was me with all the exp. I do have pics of 1 soil gro my first and the pics are in there somewhere. Ur
