1 plant - Original Amnesia from Dina Fem
5 gal dwc/bubbleponics with 60gph air pump with 2 cylinder airstones
Weekly res changes
Flora Nova Bloom only
Hydroguard
Average ambient air 66F
Average water probably 66F as well
Average RH 60%
Veg start with one 42w CFL, then switch to 250w MH, for flower 250w HPS
Plant training: LST and scrog, most plant training knowledge taken from LBH's tutorials
Scrog net height of 4"
Scrog build idea from here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/diy-dwc-5-gallon-scrog.510210/
Plant growing knowledge was taken from growweedeasy.com and other online sources including RIU
Closet grow with limited grow space to approx. 20"x20"x36"
Closet door always left open, no ducting ventilation
I keep a notebook with weekly notes to monitor my grows to continue my improvement

Background on myself:
This is my 3rd grow, started in March '15. First two were with 4x 42w CFL's(168w total) and averaged 3oz's each. First was bagseed and second was Nirvana Blue Mystic with no plant training and GH Flora Series nutes. I prefer a one month veg so that I have an approx. 3.5 month turn around.

I welcome constructive criticism and feedback. Although, before criticizing please ask me why I do something I do rather than comparing my grow to yours and saying it's wrong. It never hurts to ask! If you are new to growing and have questions please reference the sources I cited first(growweedeasy.com and LBH's tutorials) as I will probably just point you there.

I do not expect to harvest until approx. mid April 2016 and I promise to post my yeild. I have come across too many grow journals with no yeild that highly disappointed me so I will not join that club.

1/12/16 Start of week 4
I also started 12/12 light cycle on 1/12/16. This was a mistake, i fucked up my calculations, I should have started 12/12 at the end of this week, not the start of the week. I believe the plant was too young for it, hence me now being 2 weeks from this date and not seeing any signs of flowering.

1/17/16 Week 5ish(start of week)
Throughout these past 2 weeks I have continued to adjust the LST tie downs to keep the branches growing horizontally.

1/19/16 Week 5 still
Applied the 4" height scrog net
When removing the LST tie downs(required to bolt pvc pipe to lid) i broke off one of the main branches. This was a sad day.

Applying the scrog net was a fuckin bitch btw, had to have an extra set of hands to help me manuever it on. Then i layed down the branches horizontally under the net.

1/22/15 Week 5 endish
Every day I lift the light up and manuever the flower tops to appropriate places to keep an even canopy and allow light to access any lower sprouts so that I can gain a thicker canopy.

Dosent look like ur tucking the plant thats the whole point of scrogging.
Thanks for the feedback. At this point in time I was going by LBH's tutorial of saying you want "6-8 inches" of bud above the net. As mentioned I already switched to 12/12 2 weeks ago, so I am assuming(which may be wrong since this is my first scrog, please advise) that I am only going to stretch at max 8" which will give me that result. So basically I am thinking I am done tucking since I am hoping for flower to begin any day now.

Through your experience with scrog do you think my stretch will be more than 8" at this point and I should continue to tuck for X more weeks? If yes, how much longer do you think I should tuck assuming pistils will appear within the current week?

I guess u could tuck just once more if you want short plants but not if you think it will stress her out. But i do think it will grow another foot to be honest

Sounds good, I'll throw another tuck in, I can see why you'd think so as I was thinking it'd probably be a good idea too since I havn't seen any signs of flower yet and I'm aware of the continued growth during the next month.

And yeah I'm aiming to stay short and compact because I don't want to get too large and horizontally spaced since i'm only using a 250w that doesn't have the ability to properly light a large depth and space.

Gonna stick around for this mate, looking good upto now! That DIY SCROG screen is great. How far along in 12/12 is she now?
Thanks man! Yeah that thing came out great, really happy with it, thing is fillin up fast.

I switched to 12/12 a week earlier than I wanted to(switched at 3 week instead of usual 4) because i calculated wrong so i switched on 1/12/16 making it 17 days ago. Still no sign of flower at all, my last two grows i switched at 4 weeks and they showed signs of flower in like 5 days. Anxiously awaiting, it's a fem seed though so not worried it's a male atleast.

Here she is today, light just came on

I think you switched at the right time to be fair due to the size of her and your space. I have waited a full 3 week after switching to 12/12 on a previous grow before I have even seen a pistil. She vegged for 4 week aswell. Just stay patient mate, as hard as it sounds!

It is such a horrible waiting game! I personally despise the germination/seedling stage, followed by the transition/stretch stage. The drying is also a pain in the arse. I work away a lot of the time and try and time it so I'm around for all of these stages.
