Lol why you saying this. Do you know something everyone else doesn't. Please fill us in since the gov. Doesn't even know what they're gonna do hahah
Because common sense would be to equalize the system to be fair for everyone. They have been ordered to come up with something that works across the board, not some 2 or 3 tier system. What ever they unroll will have to be for everyone, at that point everyone will have to go get a new permit/script.
I have a feeling they are going to switch to a space/wattage system not plant count so much. I think the new system will be something like

no bigger then 10x10
keep wattage under 4k
keep plant count under 50

That is just a guess I do not know the numbers but I think it will resemble that. They will say anything beyond that will be consider commercial regardless and it have to be in a properly zoned space.

One other side note, I did see the judge say that a CG should not have a limit on how meany people they can CG/DG for. So I foresee something that says if you meet a set criteria then you can have clients that you CG/DG for.

I'm sorry but that won't work for me if that's the way it works out. My daily limit and plant count is that for a reason. They can try but I can see a lot of us thinking the same way

http://www.nhpconsulting.ca/blog/allard-decision-marijuana/

Found this to be a great rundown of the verdict and also some very interesting comments on the future of the new mmpr

"Third, we’re not rewinding back to the MMAR system. “It is neither feasible nor appropriate to order the Defendant to reinstate the MMAR” (p.101) and the verdict is making room “to permit Canada to enact a new or parallel medical marihuana regime” (p.102). If I’m reading in between the lines, it means that, while people will grow their own product for medical reasons (with a permit from Health Canada), we won’t see designated growers anymore. In other words, MMAR designated growers have until August 2016 to shut down their operations."

Was just watching Bill Blair talk at the hearing today on the news, he is a piece of shit, he gave such a typical Cop response, "business as usual" for busting people is what he told his cop buddies, he said until it is legal cops should bust people for it, what a tool fuk head. He should of said use discretion but remember it will be legal soon or something to that effect. He really hopes he can "control it" in his words, man the nerve of that old ass man, he looks like he will need a walker soon what a tool.

What they do not get is they are not actually legalizing "Pot" but more like trying to bring a whole culture into the fold. My point being we are already an established thing, how do you write rules for something that already has rules?????????? LOL good luck we are a culture, at the end of the day people can say or think what ever they want but our culture will ultimately dictate how things unfold not "Jill Flair"

I think he should be reminded that police forces have limited resources and there is little public interest in using those resources for pot police.

@torontomeds: i just read an article on the montreal gazette that had a bunch of quotes from Blair and his cop buddies that run their fraternity. He is a partisan coward. Its bullshit that he has anything to do with this.

the excuse they give is that front line police officers are being harmed by not knowing what to do...sounds familiar as a patient going thru the injuction for the last year+ and absolutely ridiculous on their behalf.

"Tom Stamatakis, president of the Canadian Police Association, welcomed Blair's remarks on the Criminal Code provisions that remain in effect.

"Front line police want to be constructive partners in modernizing Canada's marijuana laws, but our members are the ones who are put in difficult positions when mixed messages are sent regarding the enforceability of current laws," he said in a statement."

Soon enough these "leaders" will have to redirect their ignorance...

Those who don't smoke but make juices or oils need more plants than those who only smoke. I can see this continuing in court if they lower our plant counts. It'll take another fight in court I guess to ensure that plant counts for the MMAR holders don't get reduced is my belief. That Bill Blair, JT sure screwed us over when he appointed him. Glad I didn't vote for him.

>this is ridiculous

people need dg's and noone will pay for the patients meds from anywhere else
the ones who need dg's are sicker than the personal license people..there are lots of people who arenot aking dough off patients
how about we stop trying to screw people because it doesn't concern us ..because "we" have a personal prod license?
this thread is devolving fast..
