Congrats! Esperanza is a girl!

I cloned two of my plants with basically the same system you're using. But I went ghetto, the clones were from the bottom of an over-performing lady so they were quite tall. I just stuck the tips through the net pots and filled with hydroton pellets! No cloning gel/powder or rooting hormones, just 1/4 strength GH nutes in 5.8ph water did the trick on all 6!

Damn man they are looking great my next grow Im gonna try a scrog. Ill follow this one to see how they go!!
:peace::joint:
scrogs are fun... and can produce results if done right... I hope i get it right the first time lol

looks great, and looksfemale to me from all the pictures,ur lucky mine havent even shown a sign of sex yet lol and im a week or more into flowering, the wait sucks and my plants r outgrowing the room they have so i have to go into my room and do a new setup
Yea, I know what you mean... this one showed about 2 1/2 weeks into flowering... oh and as a tip... look at the branches as well as the main stem for signs of sex... all this time i have been looking at just the stem.. it was only by accident that I noticed the hairs on the branch! lol

Thats a female, good job! :) Ive been looking at this grow. Really fun in such a small space. I am doing some cabinets that are a bit bigger but its fun to see what folks do with space restrictions. A tutorial on the bubbler would be sweet. Your 2x 2 plant DWC looks like its doing great! The res is so small... I wonder if there is a way to hook up a bigger external res to keep the small culture topped off? I'm planning on bubble clones and hempy buckets to get away from soil. but I have stuff for a 2 plant DWC that I would love to experiment with.
Thanks for checking it out... and yes I will do a diy thread for the bubbler, but I would like to find a replacement for the black rubber plugs that I got at the hydro shop for something that is easier to get at any walmart/homedepot. It shouldn't be difficult at all. Funny you mentioned the external rez... in one of my initial plans.. the lower chamber was going to be a rez with pumps and tubes feeding the chambers above... but it was getting to complicated. I wanted something simple... so I made individual flood and drain units (It's in the first page) but settled with these DWC tubs.. and glad I did =] ... I say experiment away with DWC =]

They are looking really nice after all that cutting, they will probably just not really grow too too much for the next couple days, and then WHAMMY! right back into action!!!:joint::joint:
That is what I'm hoping for... I don't know how to prune cannabis.. but I treated it as a small fruit tree (aiming to concentrate energy on bud sights). I hope it works out... so far pruning them has been the hardest thing I'v done to them (emotionally) =[... lol

My god what a thread. This just blows my mind. I have spent over an hour reading through this. I was really wondering how to get away from soil and you have done it. Talk about cannibis inspiring people. WOW Thanks man you inspired me. This whole setup is really easy. I do have one question, can I use somthing other than rockwool because I don't think I can get my hands on it? And the rocks you use can you use perlite in a cup with holes big enough for the roots to grow out of but small enough for the perlite to stay in? You might have a better idea than perlite? can Istart my seeds then move them into a bubbler. Your plants look great.
I work as a landscaper and I do light pruning on fruit trees and you mentioned that your not that comfortable with pruning it just takes time and the more you do it the more confident you get at it. you might want to think about getting a good pair or prunning sheers.keep them razor sharp. Get as close to the stem as possible so the plant can grow over the cut and heal it self. The closer you can get the less the plant has to work.
What an awesome grow. For 12 years of my adult life I was sraight edge I missed geting high but, now i found what MJ is all about. It's my meds I could not agree more with your text after everypost. Thanks for your help looking forward to seeing some tasty nuggs. I will post some pics of my grandaddy purp seeds as the take off. peace

Thanks man =]

Update....
I've been hearing about a 24 hour dark period to speed up flowering... My instincts tell me not to and that it's all hype... but my curiosity is screaming to go for it lol... so of course i'm going to go for it... to night will be there 24 hour dark period... we will see how they respond to that.

I think the initial dark time is still a debatable subject. I don't think it does any harm, a few people have done 36 hours and had good plants.
I gave mine about 24 hrs and they went into flower pretty quick.
My last 4 just went straight on 12/12. Only the sativa took about 2 or 3 weeks to start flowering. The indicas were all flowering quickly.

I love that cab Wolfy, it's all looking good bro.
Props for the carbon filter too.

Nice, good way to start!
What is the silver cylinder I see on the corner?
HA! We got the same thermometer! Do you have the outdoor probe in the water? I have mine reading the temp in the airspace for the roots...

$200 seems a little excessive for what I see...

I see an airstone, are you using a water pump as well?

Cool Man!

Best of Luck!

the silver thing is my 4"fan bought it at home depot for 25.00. it was with the hvac piping I saw it and couldn't resist. I put a male plug on the end of the wires so I could power it. I have to drill a hole back right hand corner and get it stationed. Then put my carbon filter on it, bought at walmart same thing as wolf made.
No I just put the tstat in the box. good idea though.
It ran me about 135 at home depot I also bought some pruning sheers some river rock as I don't hae a hydro store near me. hinges 3 150 watt cfl's broke one grr. paddle bits to drill holes a few pipe connectors to put at the bottom to let air in. hinges for my door a bolt to keep it shut. little things...
I don't like all the wires running out of the box so im gona mount an electrical box and make wips for the lights and put in a recetacle in for the fan and air pump.
Then I went to walmart could not find the mylar blanket but, I got my air stone, air pump, hose, cups which I had to drill (not fun) and all the stuff for the carbon filter. that was about 40.00.
I have 2 grandaddy purp seeds germinating but,I have this snow white seedling that hasen't done anything for about 3 weeks. i had her in soil and decided to put her in the bubbler. I drilled holes in a cup filled it 1/4 the way river stone then added perlite to keep her up right the water is just above the river stone getting the perlite wet feeding her. I can't get my hands on rockwoll so I was thinking of doing the same thing with the seeds. any idea's it would b a great help. no water pump I will get one for draining the the res.

Cool fan!
Can you give me a part number?
Home Depot here says they don't carry fans like that...grrrr....

You should tape you reservoir up, keep the roots dark...

Thanks!

cups, which I had to drill (not fun)

actually, I was just at walmart yesterday. I didn't see you there.. but I did see a cheap soldering iron in the automotive electrical section for only $5. get that and melt nice holes in the cups. if you trash the iron, who cares, it was only $5.. I wanted to try making cups like that by melting, but I only had my good weller, which is more like $150. when I need it, I'll just pick up that one from wally world.
