What strain do you hate the most?

I would have to say SFV OG I wasn't impressed. Leafly said earthy smell but this was almost like a regular house plant . I could have gotten a bunk batch but id pass if it was offered again.

Sounds like the growers fault, not the genetic.

Leafy doesn't describe sfv at all. You should be able to through a nug through a car window and shatter it.

@eastcoastmo , funny you say that about G13's C99 because I had a very similar experience. It was the absolute worst plant I have ever grown, even worse then the mexican bag seeds I used in the beginning. It didn't even really look like weed when it was done, and had hardly no smell, with no potency. I wish I had a picture of it, but G13 gives C99 a bad name, IDK what the hell that stuff is but it is NOT C99. Because C99 from Female Seeds is one of my all time favorite strains (easily in top 5) and it is not even similar at all to that trash G13 has. So if you never got around to growing one from FMS give it a try and you will be happy you did.

But other then G13's C99, the strain I hate the most is whatever the Mexicans are growing in their big fields to ship us that brick weed. Most of it is so full of stems/seeds that only a little over half the weight is actual weed and I bet it'd be lucky to have 4-5% thc. I don't understand why these Mexicans keep growing out their shitty hermaphrodite strains over and over each year. You would think it would make a lot more sense to order some good strains to grow and make their own F2's of those seeds, or heck find the best of the bunch and take 1000s of clones off each of them. I know they don't really care because it will sell no matter what, but it is absolutely NO extra work growing a good reliable strain over the crap they grow. Plus if the Mexicans were growing out Blue Dream, Chemdawgs, Northern Lights, Green Crack etc then I think a lot more people would start buying their crap and they could even charge a good bit more for it. It didn't take me long to realize it wasn't worth growing out the stuff they have now. While what I grew was much better then the stuff I bought, almost all of them I grew turned hermie in the end.

Think Different was such unbelievable garbage. Ugh.

@DoctorFrost

Those Mexican strains are often simply let to pollinate as the seeds add weight and make 0 difference in the price they get often times from the cartels. AFAIK anyway.

Probably some herms too. You ever grow out some of those? I know quite a few people who have had very good luck with them.

I guess that makes sense, but instead of trying to increase the weight to get a better price, why not grow out something that is much better with at least 3 times the THC they have now and just charge a little more for it? That would make the most sense to me. It would be very easy for them to get twice the money for Blue Dream, Green Crack etc as they are getting for their crap they have now. But there is no way by letting their plants seed up will it add twice the weight. Plus it just turns people away from it after they have had good weed one time. So as a business standpoint it makes the most sense to me to grow better stuff, and charge more for it, and of course it would still be dirt cheap because it'd be mass grown by them. I am sure it wouldn't be as good as someone growing the same strain indoors and taking good care of it, but at least it wouldn't be half bad and make some serious competition for those who grow and sell good weed. Heck, I'd almost rather them to keep growing that crap since I will always have my own, it just seems dumb to me for them to do so.

And when you said have I ever grown some of those, did you mean the Mexican bag seeds? I may not have phrased it well but my last sentence of my last post is talking about them. In the beginning I probably grew out about 20-30 bag seeds from different batches. I am going to say that at least 3/4 of them hermied towards the end, and even the 1/4 that didn't wasn't worthwhile with good stuff out there. I know what I grew was much better then the weed the seeds came from, but it still wasn't good enough to make it worthwhile. I'd say the stuff I grew was lucky to be 7-8% thc if that, and the bag the seeds came from was probably lucky to be 4-5%. Just guesstimating and could be way off.
