Would this work

Thats one nice room! Is that SOG and SCROG?
That's one cool looking op!

I'm sure that it's possible to achieve an ounce per plant in the above op that I mentioned.
But that would take allot of work
The right genetics
The perfect grow room
Most importantly, Allot of work!

160 plants at 28g a plant would be 4480g or
9.80 pounds

200 plants at 28g a plant would be 5600g or
12.3 pounds

I based it on low figures to make it absulutely feasible on an ongoing basis without having to work on the op full time or be a pro grower.

"Worst case scenario / half zip per plant "
Based on 160 plants ( can fit about 200 )
160 plants x 14g = 2240g
Just short of 5 Pounds ( 4.93p )
"Worst case scenario"

The Al B Fuct Op was consistently getting three quarters on an ounce per plant.

Best to work towards top yields but be realistic about initial yields when starting up an op.

More worried about getting my room up and running. Could you tell me what I need to set up a room like at the 10 minute mark in these videos? They teach ALOT, but the thing it misses is the dimensions of the equipment. Would be greatly appreciated! I have some seeds germintating right now and I know that the equipment I have now is way to much for a two light grow op. Thanks in advance

Thank you for doing this! This gave me a much clearer visual or how sealed rooms and mini split acs work. I can see now that I'm NOT ready for a minisplit, maybe end of year. I hopefully would like to pull off at least 2 harvests (w/clones) before I upgrade my air conditioning. Would like to know do you veg your clones a little longer before flowering?

Just would like to be sure on something, a minisplit would mean I no longer need an intake, only an exhaust ( depending on number of plants)?
I think you should try your best to get the A/C from the first grow.
As who will install it after you have plants in there?

There is No Veging of clones before flowering for sea of green. Straight from clone to flowering.
As long as there well rooted clones.

Read the link I sent you from Al B Fuct!
He explains it very well, in detail!

Also I will more then likely be installing the ac at another location later on

Both, the important thing about the video is enviroment.
as for dimensions a 1000w hps will bloom a 5 x 5ft area.
:peace:VG:eyesmoke:
OK then, I'm thinking about splitting my 10x10x8 sq ft room into two by throwing up a new wall. Probably get 4x4 feet tables and use one of those newly SEMI rooms to house two plants, then get a 500 cfm filter and fan. I would do that so when I am ready I'll just mimic into the second room the exact design when I have experience under my belt. Also I could use one SEMI room during day 12 hour and the other during night 12 hour so I have a continual stream of 2k power usage during the day instead of a 4k 12 hour split

Hi again, I really like this setup. I like it even better then my original setup (w/ 6 lights), and I'm REALLY glad you have experience with this exact setup!!

So I would just like to make a few things 100% sure before I step forward with setting up theis room ( I want to do a flower room w/ 2 lights and 2 flood tables like the second video).

1 what size is the room
2 what size are inline fans (3 of them, including exhaust all same?)
3 what size is carbon filter
4 what size are flood tables
5 what size is accurate
6 what is that red box ( I can't read text lol)
7 In the video the speaker mentions that hydro growing does not really benefit flowering resultsts, only veg. If this is accurate, does this mean that my clones would be just as good in soil as they are in hydro
8 will the strains I have chosen get me 1/2 ounce per clone (green crack & white widow)
9 what media did you use? Coco?

Thanks
Hey Chong,

We are getting a little repetitive.

Have you cracked any beans yet?
Lol

1 what size is the room
You told me the size of your room, I can't remember.

2 what size are inline fans (3 of them, including exhaust all same?)
What fans do you have?
Use them.
Save as much money as you can

3 what size is carbon filter
Get the largest one, they are more efficient and make your fan last longer as there is less resistance due to larger surface area.

4 what size are flood tables
2m x 1m ( fit 40 -50 pots - square 175mm pots)

5 what size is accurate
Of what?

6 what is that red box ( I can't read text lol)
Electrical panel

7 In the video the speaker mentions that hydro growing does not really benefit flowering resultsts, only veg. If this is accurate, does this mean that my clones would be just as good in soil as they are in hydro
Don't mess around with soil and hydro.
Pick one.
I suggest hydro.

8 will the strains I have chosen get me 1/2 ounce per clone (green crack & white widow)
I'm not sure about them specifically
Post a link to the beans from the site you bought them.
SOG - prefers Indica ( shorter plants )
Best to have a strain them at flowers well in 8 week period to maximise your yield ( GPW ).

9 what media did you use? Coco?
As Mentioned before, Yes Coco.
The bottom of each pot had a thin layer of Rockwool Floc ( granulated rockwool ) .
The Rockwool prevent loose particle of coco falling through the holes in the pot and making a mess of your tray and reservoir.
I started using perlite in my coco to add some aeration to it towards the end.
Mix I used was about four parts coco to one part perlite.

Al B Fuct used sure go grow as his medium at the end of his Op. If you can get it , use it.
Allows for the plants to be watered twice a day as sure to grow doesn't retain as much water.

There is a million different ways of doing this bud.

Once you start, you can see what suits you and works well for you.

Hey could you send me the link again? Im dying to see it! I can't find in in the logs
based my Op on Al B Fuct
Check out his thread, it's long as hell but there is allot of great information. Sad all the images are gone. I printed thousands of pages of that thread to have on "file" just in case this site went am down. So I have it in a folder with all my other grow books/bibles.
He makes some changes from the first few pages of thread to the last.
But the "idea" of how he ran his op was the same.

Your Right Chong,

I didn't watch the video fully.
It is a SCROG.

SOG , is where you aim to have one single cola per plant.

These plants have multiple, surely been Tolled to create multiple tips and fill the SCROG.

Sounds awsum bro,
now ur thinking outside the box so keep up the good work.
just remember the plant canopy will be larger then the pot size.

a mini split would mean 3 things
1 u sawl that set up at the 10 min mark how the air going over the lights have nothing to do with the grow room

2 u would have no intake /exhaust at all ..........if u wanted too could do the carbon scrubber on the floor sucking in cool Co2 u can take ducting and make it empy out up top right above the plants use a simple vent make it come out like shower of cool air/co2 over the plants

3 u need to add Co2 into the system
A) your area is to large for tanks of Co2 to work it would mean like 4 5 50 lb tanks that way u could run for 30 45 days before getting filled back up
B) a burner would be a better use of money ......u get more time off a propain/ natural gas

i do not like clones ........i know the reason for it but i rather have different strains on a rotation then a steady one stock product

The video you posted showed near perfect closed room environmental controls from a grower with ten years experience.

In ten Years , Chong can definitely get that yield.
Lol

I used a 1000 watt HPS with an adjust-a-wing reflector. It effectively allowed me to use each light to cover a table which was 2m x 1m. I had cool tubes and ran the lights as close to the canopy as possible while making sure the light was still covering the edge of the table.
I rotated plants at times to give equal light distribution.

Sorry, I just wanted to be 1000 percent sure before I move forward with my room direction. You have helpedme a lot with this seriously thanks. I went from a 6kwatt room from seed to bud to a 2kwatt perpetual grow with a flower and veg room. Which is great because I'm a begginer, but not so great because I have all the equipment already for a 6kwatt room. Therefore my room is 100 sq ft floor space, 8 feet high, my in lines are BOTH 1000 CFM and my carbon filter is 1000 cfm. I was asking for specs because I personally think that those fans and that filter would be an OVERKILL for a 2k light grow. Do you agree? Because then again Idk

Oh and PS when you say CRACK SOME BEANS wdym?

The above is with Air Con obviously.

Crack some beans / jokingly telling you to germinate some seed.

You said you have already.

Nothing wrong with being a little bit of overkill with a carbon filter and air circulation.
As long as you have considered the amount of noise pollution tryout equipment will be creating.
Considered baffled ducting and maybe a silencer?
