who is they and were did they say it?

sorry been at work
from their info:

In general, every one (1) gram of dried marijuana authorized will result in the production of five (5) plants indoors or two (2) plants outdoors. Individuals must indicate in their application whether they intend to produce marijuana plants indoors, outdoors, or partial indoors/partial outdoors. Individuals seeking to produce outdoors must confirm that the production site is not adjacent to a school, public playground, daycare or other public place mainly frequented by children.

Glad for the growers who wouldn't grow without a license but what a joke this program is. The base program is not bad once they define the numbers for growing but if you have to buy seeds from LP's then it effectively limits your access yet again, can anyone say lawsuit waiting to happen? Fucking joke. As I've said before, fuck HC and any government who tries to tell me what I can and cannot do.

Here's my response to this new program:

Cheers and happy (limited) growing :bigjoint:
I really don't see them randomly chopping plants and checking genetics tho.

Then why ,make the rules. If they're not going to enforce them, why bother other than it's in their agenda to lock down the market. What gets me more about the seeds is the back room deals that went on to get that even in the rules. Who do you think pushed to lock down seed distribution? Greedy LP's trying to get as much $ out of this as possible while restricting our rights to choice further. If they continue on the path to an exclusive boys club for all aspects of the medical and recreational production, distribution and sales, the program will fail. We've gone through 80 years of prohibition, we're done with prohibition and control over a fucking plant that is less harmful than tobacco and alcohol. Open up the market with reasonable controls like testing and standards, but don't come up with bull-shit restrictions. If I want to take a few years and develop my own medical strains, that's my choice, not some bureaucrat making decisions on my behalf based on $ and back room favours for the LP's.

I got a big jar-o-seeds, and access to a whole shitload more, so I don't see myself contributing to lp seed sales...ever. Stupid rule, makes no sense and will be struck down the first time a patient is charged. How are they gonna know, much less stp me from trading seeds with a friend?

yeah, like we would actually by hay seeds from PPS! I wonder if anybody ever did?
I bet 75% of the buds ordered from pps came with seeds but I didn't even hear mention of hc selling seeds til today
No one will buy shitty genetics and I think even they realize how silly they would look in court trying to enforce that nonesense.

As far they were concerned strains were just different flavours anyway lol

Nope. This is the documentation that was covered in the presser HC gave today. It's a summary of what regulations will be enacted, a 'meaningless memo' wouldn't comply with any judgement.

So as far as the injunction, HC has said they won't seek to have it terminated before they can guarantee they'll be able to process new applications in a timely manner, so:

-You don't need an address change - Good to go for the forseeable future
-You do need an address change - SOL until HC gets the new system processing

As far as seeds, I don't see any way for them to identify genetics / justify inspections, so this is likely just an 'on-paper' thing. Kirk doesn't seem interested in going back to court immediately given the interim nature of the new medical program, so the real details will likely materialize when they table rec legalization and how the medical program will fit in.

It probably is a precursor to govt going after seed retailers though, so I'd recommend buying as much as you're able to right now.
I dunno.... we will see i guess...but this fight is far far from over. Even when the new legislation comes into effect we will be fighting for changes...long road ahead

As for seeds... think that boat has sailed. They have beennon sale for over 20 years. Genie is out of the bottle. Precedent has been set.

Wow. Can anyone recommend a good doctor that won't try to reduce our old MMAR amounts? My doctor had a breakdown and has closed his practice so I'm looking for any recommendations for a BC doctor if it's possible who will give me a new prescription. Please PM me if you have any leads...cheers!
