Clones - GDP ( 1 week old) in rockwool starter cube
DWC - 18 gallon tote w/ 4 sites
Pots - 4 inch net pots filled with hydroton
Oxygen - x3 air pump with 2 lines ( 1 line has air stone, 2 DIY bubble tubes, 2 lines for circulation)
Light - 600w air cooled HPS
Area - L shaped closet 8" height x 6" length x 3 1/2" width
Nutrients - FloraNova Grow ( Veg), Fox Farm soluble trio (bloom), Ph up & down
Temps - averages out around 80-85 degrees during light time and 75-80 degrees during dark time
Humidity - 30 percent almost all the time
Testers - PH test strips ( NO Ph,Ppm,Ec,tdm meters yet)
Feeding schedule ( 1/4 strength of FloraNova grow for 10 gallons and 5 gallons plain tap for dilution and to prevent nutrient burn)
Extras - I lined my entire tote and top with heavy duty foil for light prevention / leaks

* my main focus is keeping ph dialed in so I don't have to worry about diagnosis of water just I case something happens like heat stress, nut deficiencies, pests ex...

So that is my set up thus far....

Anybody have suggestions on what can be done to better my grow?
What can I do and what should I do?
I'm just starting but have been doing my research extensively (forums, videos, growers)
So I'm knowledgeable to a certain extent like most of us but I know theres professionals who can really throw some game out there.

You need to keep your WATER temps under 70. 65-68 is preferrable. This is overlooked almost always when first getting In to dwc. I SUGGEST you buy a water chiller to pump water out of your res, through the chiller and back into the res. Craigslist may offer you some solutions for cheaper, but amazon and ebay sell active aqua hydro farm brands new 1/10hp for $250-$275.

Money is kinda tight but if possible I'd definitely get one ASAP. Right now I have a fan right next to a bowl of water blowing on my tote. I was trying to bring up my humidity but instead I guess the water just gets cold and evaporates from the fan lol

That's not going to cut it... I'd at least get a wire probe thermometer for aquariums and use frozen water bottles for now at least.

Female so far but I had gotten my clones about a week before I fully set my DWC up. I know there stunted and finally making a come back. Roots just started hitting the water. I fear that I may have stressed at least one into hermi but not sure so I'll have to wait a few more weeks.

H2o2 all day.
Thanks for helping me out by the way man I definitely appreciate it. Another question is do I need to add hydrogen peroxide once a week when I change Rez ? Every few days when I top off? Or add H2O2 everyday until harvest ? I thought it was only needed for actual root rot to kill/ get rid of algae or is it used to prevent it?

You should buy one of these and see if it will do the trick. I've been interested in seeing if a peltier type chiller will do the job. This is for 12-15 gallons so perfect for you. I'd love for you to let me know how it works. There are other models too at the "items like this" part of the page near the bottom you could check out

You need h2o2 that is 29%. Amazon and ebay sell it. It's made by NutriLife and is only added with any new water or nutrient water you add. Use it as a preventive and it just keeps shit clean. I see a huge difference when I use it. Just don't get it on your skin.
