Hi guys,

We are Land and Heir genetics/ Paydirt seeds collective. We are based all over Colorado and have members high and low. We specialize in breeding Land race and Heirloom varieties together as well as preservation and acclimation. Our subsidiary Paydirt seeds is our poly hybrid/ Non heirloom land race sector. We focus on all organic techniques and non harmful sustainable practices if the need arises for pest or mold control. We breed between 5000 and 11000 feet above sea level. Some of our members have over a decade of experience and some are first year growers. we do not lie or mislead people, we openly admit huge mistake and tiny mistakes. Most importantly we are documenting every project in journal and picture form to be released with each project.

currently we are undergoing 2 separate projects in a few locations, Land and Heir division is working on Malawi Gold acclimating, hybridizing and creating more malawi ibls. Our Paydirt division is underway with the project dubbed "the Manhattan" project using a soon to be announced male on 4 maybe 5 different females. We will need testers for these projects and we will also be focusing on further line breeding these hybrids once good phenotypes are identified and documented. If an F1 hybrid is ever released, it will only be through Land and Heir and will be from 2 land race varieties. All hybrids released under Paydirt will be taken to at least F3 stage to attempt to weed out undesirable phenotypes.

actually looking for something that flowers with very dark buds and very red hairs at finish, if any Land/Heir bitches end up showing that I`ll be hungry for some of their beans...

This was a male originally thought to be a Durban poison land race that we got from seed, after following the trail back to ace seeds and having many questions as to the legitimacy we found out it was not in fact Durban at all. The females from the same seeds were almost convincing at first in fooling us into believing she was Durban( aside from the obviously Incorrect structure and leaf pattern). We thought we may have a batch that had some unique traits but that was not even close to being the case. The females started producing diesely og kush terps and no lemon and spice after 4 weeks...the females also look to be in the 10-11 week range possibly for flowering time. We had an entire project lined up for Him and trashed it the moment we realized we had a fake. However, we didnt trash the male and female of the now unknown variety! No way! Although we dont know the origin it produces amazing flowers with og/diesel/chemesque terpenes. We are keeping her to work with although she also appears to have tmv in the female or some sort of mutation that creates a crinkle. Only in the female pheno we kept.

( luckily i immigrated to the states from south africa in 99 so family still lives there and can def make it easier to find).
Im not comfortable breeding anything with a problem so she will be put on the back burner and used in our personal flavor pairings but probably not going to ever be released or used.

We have a kerala that may exhibit that trait as far as landrace. We also have an oregon diesel x ak 47 we are planning on breeding to a fitting male in the future and she produces the most purple bud i have ever seen with lavender and floral terps. We have a variety called midnight moonlight (og kush x sugaree x bubbakush) that we may use one or who males from to pollinate her.

I just fancy a 90% indica with dark dark buds and really red hairs

Cotton candy (power plant x lavender) was a good purple strain being from the UK I`ve got Cheese candy on my list to try soon

Then I`m thinking a very purple indica dom, needs some red beard or some really red hair strain breeding into it

Just loving the look of almost black buds with super red hairs..... but lately power plants been pretty good to me and trainwreck and obviously any strong Afghans normally do well

A very admirable approach. I'm digging the pursuit of preservation, something I think is missing among the elitist clone-only circuit that's kind of taken over in some circles.

i agree completely! Preserving the building blocks of todays genetics just seemed like a thing that needed to be done. Heirlooms as well! i grew up in the tampa area of florida from 99-2008 and remember the crippy i used to get there...3 years ago i was lucky to hook up with an old grower from tampa and got the clone from him and thats definitely one il preserve forever even though its clone only.

Alright, enough detraction, back to the subject at hand!

hahhaa well il talk a bit about the land races we have and how we got them.
one of our friends in denver works for a breeder and knows alot of people in the industry. we get a call one day that someone he knows who has been traveling collecting seeds for years and years of indigenous varieties. This guy was moving to Israel and was either going to flush all of his hard work down the toilet ( because he had a newborn baby there and couldnt risk the travel and customs etc nor could he cultivate there at all) or he was going to sell them to people he believed were honest folks who were not going to exploit the amazing score for fast cash.
So we contact this guy and he agrees to meet with us and long story short he shows us picture over picture of the varieties (33) total i believe. and we walked away from this meeting with 12 of the coveted varieties. The next day he boarded a plane, but before he asked us one more time if we wanted anymore before he trashed the rest. we declined as we were hours away and had expended our budget. I wont name everything we have because i like a bit of mystique and fun, but il give a few out: sanai peninsula (Egypt) , Jordanian, Kerala, Kenyan

it was awesome seeing photos of that guy in the places with the people getting the seeds and then all of the crosses he had made from them....some looking very og kush like and some almost looking like cookies crosses.

our member that has the malawi males and females right now just had his first son on sunday, so i may be picking those up from him soon and documenting the open pollination and testing of those.
