Dresser grow box

Hey everyone! Good to be back. It's been awhile since I've posted.
I have just finished building a new stealth grow box out of an old dresser I gutted. Right now I have six 55w CFLs in there. I have two 36w LED grow lights I plan to put in there within a couple days to replace two of the CFLs and lower Temps a little bit. Right now I've hitting a maximum 85 degrees so it's not too bad. I've got the foxfarm trio from nutes and Foxfarm ocean forrest soil blend that I'm going to mix with 20% perlite. I also have some molasses I will be watering with in the flowering stage. To conserve space I plan on lsting the plant and using a screen to make a scrog and more evenly distribute the light across the Colas. Yes, right now I just have catnip growing and that's because I'm testing the system and waiting on my buddy to come back with my feminized seeds. Yeah Im thinking some kind of angled cover that keeps light out, I also want to cover it with a screen so hair and other debris cant get sucked in

for a nice diy low profile light-trap, check out scrublouvers...designed by a grower named scrubninja. I use them in a lot of my setups.

..otherwise yeh..just an angled cover painted flat black inside. Painting flat black inside the lighttrap helps a ton.

Yeah they are definitely short. I'm finally starting to get some vertical growth so I can train!

What size containers are you using?

I went small and while the plants didn't outgrow the space, their final results were equally small.
But once you find the right size for the space... bazinga...

I fit each plant into a 12"×12"x15" containor. They perfectly fit the bottom of my dresser since the pots are square so that should give me just about 7 gallons of soil each. They have 5 inches to the screen from the dirt and about 18 inches to the bottom of the lights from the screen. Training is going great right now, couple more weeks and I'll flip to 12 12

Yeah hopefully the girls have everything they need to get me some good buds. Here I marked the 16 nodes coming up through my screen that will hopefully become some fat nugs. Also a pretty good trunk growing on this one so far

I think you could get at least a couple oz. I'd flip into flower pretty soon though...

this is a 1x2ft cab right? 250w of cfl plus 66w of led? actual watts or advertised /incandescent equivalent watts?

reason i ask is because it looks like u actually have 6x 15 or so watt cfls and 2x9w LED bulb things

so around 110w

i think with that u will pull just over 2 ounce dried.

They are 3w diode LEDs and 12 of them making 36w each, and I have 2 55w actual wats CFLs (250w equivalent) and 3 45 actual wat cfls (200w equivalent)
55 x 2=110
45x 3= 135
245 wats of cfl
36 x2= 72 wats led

Thanks! I think the training went great. All her top nodes are within a inch of each other.
Soil to ceiling 23"
Screen to bottom of cfls 13"
Tops of plants to cfls 9-10"
