I harvested some seeds from my last indoor grow, i collect the pollen of two unknown males and cross pollen with a well know female from Royal QUEEN seeds bank (SPECIAL QUEEN) and two unknown female plants.
Now I have my own personal strain,
SUPERGLUE, SUGARCANE AND GREETURF.
I dropped 15 seeds total in pure cococoir and 12 of it is growing.

Day 12 some problem with nitrogen deficiency, pH was over 9, so I pH my water to 6.8 hoping fixing the problem.20170101_060222.jpg 20170101_060218.jpg 20170101_060208.jpg 20170101_060230.jpg 20170101_060226.jpg 20170101_060244.jpg

Day 15 and deficiency continue to affect plants.20170104_160827.jpg20 20 20 Jack's classic fertilizer and pH was going thru the roof 8.5-9.0. ( once I had good results with miracle grow 202020 so they discontinued mg so I give this a tryout but not for me.20170104_160740.jpgplant 120170104_160802.jpgolder plant 220170104_160754.jpgplant 320170104_160807.jpgnow this plant was feeding 15 30 15 Jack's classic 1/2 tsp per gallon water every water, so plant look healthy green juice leaves bulky wide leafs. Now pH wise stay at 6.7-6.9 and plant is growing faster.

I'm not seeing any N deficiency but seeing nute burn on a lot.

And you should stop spraying your plants. They don't need it and you make them more likely to get mildew or fungus problems. Also washes out Ca and other nutes from the leaves.

Overall they look healthy for now. What kind of water are you using? Sounds like hard water with the high pH you talked about. Big problems ahead it it is real hard water.

You really need some proper nutes with the right NPK ratios. That 20-20-20 is your best bet for now and later as well. 15-30-15 is way too high in P and I think you are feeding too much and that's why the nute burn tho now that they are bigger they seem to be handling it better. Does Peters make something like a 5-10-20 for better flowering?

A lot of the major nute companies make nutes especially for coco but it doesn't look like they are in coco now in the large pots. I use ProMix and pH Perfect nutes from AN with reverse osmosis water and that works good. Never even test the pH.

Good luck and good growing!

Thanks mate, plants are recovering from nutrients deficiency ,(only older plants) pH meter need calibration. Have now in soil and 15 30 15 at 1/2 strength nutrients pH 6.8. slowly I get the hanger of this, pH perfect nutrients and better soil.

I found this site that has a list of Peter's formulations and has better mixes for different stages of cannabis growing tho they are dealing mostly with hemp. They note a 5-11-26 that would be better for flowering but I'm not sure if it can be bought in smaller quantities than 50lb bags. :)

You would be much better off getting something easier to work with. I like the AN nutes for the simplicity and great results. With RO water and decent soil or soilless mixes it's hard not to grow decent plants. No pH to check is a big plus to me as I'm old and lazy so the less I have to do the better. :)

There are a lot of growers here that swear by Peter's and even formulate their own mixes from the basic compounds that ferts like Peter's are made from. They are mostly experienced growers tho and can better judge what their plants needs are and fill those needs. Not so easy when you are starting off. Many forget that they were once new growers too and have forgotten how puzzling a lot of these concepts can be to the new guys. I'm still improving on my grows and I've grown hundreds of plants since my first tiny buds in 1978. Was never a gardener tho and couldn't keep a house plant alive long.

You really should stop spraying your plants. You see how it collects at the leaf tips? That's probably what's causing them to go brown and die like that. They don't need to be sprayed and you are just hurting them doing it.

If you get that FFOF soil don't add nutes to it right away as it has lots of nutes in it and can burn small plants on it's own. A lot of people that use it never add nutes until it's time to flower if they are in decent sized pots.

Mixing it half and half with a soilless mix for a starter mix in small pots is a good idea so they don't gt burned. I've seen a lot of that. And always have lots of perlite in your mixes to make it easy for roots to grow. 20-30% perlite works well.
