Jacks for Dummies

Hey RM3 what is the best way to just add sulfur? Would micronized Sulfur work? Is that water soluble? Thanks man.
I've used sulphuric acid for years as an affordable ph down along with jack's classic and bloom. A small box sold at auto parts stores for adding to batteries will last a very long time as you dilute it tremendously. Just be sure to allow it time to titrate and check the ph as you would any other ph down formula.

I'm wanting to try a new brand of Nutes and have heard good things bout jacks but I'm wondering What jacks product or products do you recommend for growing DWC also will I need additional additives on top of what you recommend? Thanks

Excellent thread. I am indeed a dummy so should I run tomato feed all the way through flower or alternate weeks with bloom booster like JR Peters says? Or maybe combine?

They both lack sulfur, sulfur feeds the trics, you'd be amazed at the boost in quality if you add sulfur

the Citrus has 4.9% sulfur and the Aquagold (which Jack's designed for MJ) has 9% sulfur
I've been looking into simplifying my grows because work has me away from the house. What my question is is how exactly do you use this? What's soil and at what point do you actually start feeding them and at what strength? I have been dying to see how others use it from start to finish

Sorry that is nothing I could post as I don't follow any kind of schedule. I look at em and then decide what they "need" sometimes it's 1/4 teaspoon, sometimes a half, sometimes just water. Learned a long time ago if you want the best outta plants ya gots to get on their schedule. They don't like ours much, I know that's not what ya wanna hear. As for medium I use peat amended with kitty liter

Nah you're fine. This stuff works great, at 1/4 strength it usually will do the trick. Basically I been thinking doing Promix Bx amend with perlite and dolomite and that'll be that. I just gotta add water with nutes in it. I. Tired of checking ph and all that jazz.

Sorry to bug you but I was curious, do you add dolomite lime? And I'll take it you throw the soil out after harvest right? Basically it's like this, I have a big trashcan full of super soil but I'm starting to hear that synthetics like Jack's can give you much bigger yields with much less headache , if that's the case then I don't mind abandoning my organic quest.

I grow in peat that I reuse, been usin the same bail now over 7 years and yes I add Dolomite to it. The combination of peat and chem nutes gives you control, it's what you do with it that gets results

I'm in a rdwc and I use dyna grow 7-9-5 all the way with low ppm 550 and at the third week of flowering I had some bc grow 1-3-6 until they end they dont ask more then 900 ppm and the taste is way better then only dyna gro maybe cause of the potasium sulfate and the magnesium sulfate . I think I try to give little less of the dyna gro and more bc grow for the last week of flowering . 1473001086609-1269071476.jpg 14730011419101316220435.jpg 1473001197398-52210153.jpg
