I'm from Texas as well and would like to move to AR to start something up. Would be interested to see how the law develops and what the parameters would be to start a business. The unfortunate aspect of being a Texan is that it seems like most of these laws require you to be a resident in the legal states for X amount of time before you can even apply to start a business.

Ya and it may be until April before it even starts. 6months isn't to bad

That link was incredibly helpful! Unfortunately it looks like native Texans like us will have no part in the medical industry of Arkansas considering the stipulation is that you must have lived in the state for at least 7 years (check section 8 c) to open a dispensary or cultivation facility. Not only that but only 4 - 8 cultivation facilities and 20 - 40 dispensaries would be licensed :/ it was good research though. Guess I will just keep waiting on Texas -_-

Still plenty of opportunities if theyou are black market. 6monthe after you have an address or maybe even a po...I'll have to look into that....you can get a med card if you qualify and the qualifiers are fairly flexible considering its a bible belt state. it's a pretty big deal.
