Selling to the Michigan Dispensaries

Has anyone sold to any of the MI dispensaries? How hard is it? I hear a lot of them are lacking the real high quality bud, is this true? What kinda pay are they handing out for quality product? Do they buy other things like hash and edibles? If anyone could shed some light with their first hand knowledge I'd be forever grateful.

I know there is a thread on MI dispensaries, but it's pages and pages of talk about buying from them. I want know more about selling it to them. Thanks in advance RIU.

Maybe you should re think that? They are doing county by county raids. They take all the cannabis when they raid. Some growers are complaining that they had it out there on a front to the dispensary and didn't get paid. A smart grower would wait and see how this all shakes out. Law enforcement will be very interested in who supplied the dispensaries.

I don't think I'd be to eager to give a dispensary anything on consignment. I much rather sell it cheaper than on consignment, surely they don't all work on consignment.

About the LEO and raids, not too worried about that. I am as legal as can be, and have an amazing legal team if the need arises. I would be more than willing to set some judicial president to help protect all MI growers. A little bit of jail time ain't nothing but a thing, and would be totally worth it for a chance at turning some grey areas white. So let them be very interested in me. Also I don't see Ann Arbor/Ypsi or Detroit dispensaries getting raided unless the law changes outlawing them or they do something stupid. I could be wrong, hopefully not. Either way I really hope the people that already are going to court have competent legal teams. I really want the legal president to be set in our favor.

They (most I have delt anyway so far.) dont pay well, there (most again, not all.) in it for the profit!
I have been offered 250.00 a Oz for White widow that was premium, but they have noproblem re-selling it for 400-450.00.
Make sure who you know who you are dealing with, I have heard some horror stories as of late!

Well thats how they make money buy for 250 and sell for 400... How else would they stay open. I wanna hear more of these horror stories.

If I am offered $250.00 for my premium bud I'd be happy. NBKA how many ozs were they willing to buy from you? I don't mind getting 250 an oz if they will buy 1/4 lb or 1/2 lb. I don't need the headache of being a weedman, I am not a kid anymore. The drug game is for the youth.

I heard more like they pay up to $3000 a pound and they sell it for $700 an ounce. Right now, if you are selling to the dispensary you are 'The Weed Man' and playing the drug game. Ask any of those that got arraigned today. Selling to the dispensary isn't going to be the easy way out until it goes all the way to the supreme court of Michigan. We will see how they rule.

This topic is such a double edged sword. On one hand, in order to have quality dispensaries, they need reputable growers that can supply them with top notch product.

On the other, if the counties or cities don't want them in business, you're putting your life on the line even showing your face at these places.

The worst part is they put your fucking face on the channel 4 news.....there goes your job baby. I'm really on the fence with this one.

It would be great to have a list of low usage patients, and have big overage. It could mean big profit for all the hard work and bs we go through. For now, I'm gonna sit back and wait. At least I can sleep at night....for the time being.

do not take under $350-400 an oz from anyone if it is quality smoke, big dense sugary stinky nugs? This is the going rate in Michigan. It's about $4800 a LB wholesale for a dispensary or less, who cares what they do with it or what the sell it for. Michigans going to have a problem like California, weed every where, prices going way down and a lot of bs weed brought into the mix so you won't know what your getting. If it's good, brand yourself as a grower otherwise this isn't going to help anyone including Michigan's economy $4000 should be the very least for a LB

A safer Idea would be to become a caregiver for up to 5 people. Not only can you grow your 12 plants, but I believe it's like 5 for every patient you have and you can have up to 5. And seeing as you're dealing directly with your patients, there's no worry about being raided or having to sell your bud for less. Much luck to you Smurf.

having done caretaker to caretaker transfers of my own overages with the premiere collectives in ann arbor and metro detroit, i can tell you that they do not keep a paper trail. nothin requires them to document a caretaker to caretaker transfrer in their records. you still obviously need your paperwork to prove you're legal before any kind of handover is made but none of those guys even know my name let alone have it documented somewhere.

they just recently passed a bill in Colorado that the dispensaries must grow I think 80% of their own now..... before I think it was like 30% that put a ton of caregivers out of business.

if you read the law, dispensaries in michigan actually do not exist. usually they are another kind of of business to cover up. technically not dispensaries, at least according to law.

Under the MMMA act, you can transfer MMJ to your five registered patients and that is it. Everything not specifically listed in the MMMA is illegal. So, selling to dispensaries is illegal.

(b) A primary caregiver who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card shall not be subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalty in any manner, or denied any right or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by a business or occupational or professional licensing board or bureau, for assisting a qualifying patient to whom he or she is connected through the department's registration process with the medical use of marihuana in accordance with this act, provided that the primary caregiver possesses an amount of marihuana that does not exceed:

A c.g can grow for 5 pt's and themselves, they can grow 12 plants per pt and have 2.5 dryed cured budd for each pt plus themselves!

so a c.g who is a pt with grow rights can grow 72 plants and have 15 oz's (MI Lb) dried cured useable mmj.

Peace

Yes, the law is horseshit..it is designed to be a trap and if these scumbag thirsty ass police hit you and you have one plant over the limit or one gram over their absurd allowances...they will steal all your equipment, plants, fans, vehicles and pretty much anything else that holds value..they call it a civil forfeiture.
