I want to use morpheus as my f1 that I used in the ultimate goal of backcrossing it to krinkle and trying to isolate the clones terps and pass them on after I backcross it 3 to 5 times .....now I have both male and female krinkle and will line breed it although I belive it's a landrace but maybe wrong..and the main thing for me is not losing the terp profile of the female I have....it's my all time favorite! So that's why I wanna backcrosd her and try to represent her in seed form incase line breeding her with the krinkle male changes or loses that profile in the possible new phenotypes emerging in the f2 gen. I'd love some input here guys...let me know what u think

so you are trying to preserve the funk from the krinkle by using the morpheus to backcross? (morpheus is a descendant of krinkle?) Im not fully understanding.

if you want to maintain her in seed form I would suggest selfing the Krinkle plant to produce S1 seeds, since u say its a landrace and probably doesn't breed true for most traits the genes will segregate in the S1 and act like F2 seeds (likely) grow out and select from the S1's (focusing on smell) and I think youll be able to find something stable and very close to what your after, then just self the S1 to S2 and baddabing, should be pretty stable in seed form.

By rehybridizing you are thinking krinkle is a hybrid or do you mean it just has multiple variations of it's pheno in it's geno and hasn't been worked and selected yet? It just seemed like you were saying if you line breed a hybrid you won't stabilize it?

Its not stable because it's a landrace not ibl? Hard to imagine no adulteration in landrace population...pollen flies a long way. Even up here above 10000 ft
exactly

yes, its not stable (homozygous) for any one phenotype, its a landrace so pretty much by definition will have a good deal of variation. not what im saying at all, but the method used is critical at this point in the process or youll never achieve your goals yah know?

Hey guys I just want to say I am all good on testers now. I repeat we have enough!!!
Vnsmkr, jrock420, pineappleman420, gardengnome83 will be my Riu testers plus I have 3 other local testers. The weather above 10k ft has been bad I may have to wait out the storm to send but they are half packed and ready.
Thank you gentlemen you guys are a priceless resource and you will be taken care of with freebies.
Everyone else thank you for the interest but we are happy with the line up of us and 6 testers. Our next project is starting soon...Malawi seeds one male pheno on 2 females phenos....if you'd like to test those please wait to contact us until we announce they are ready to test. Thanks guys have a great day!

It smells very lemony with weird grape funk notes...thanks a lot in a so excited to see what the male purg does in alL the crosses! The A pheno flowers in ten days in a 100 gal also ...should be a super exciting plant to see I'd it's anything like pheno B....and it's 10 times bigger!
