Lol, she's a rescue. Docking would cost more than her adoption fees. While I do like the tail and it's one of the reasons I picked her, she had an accident with a car before I found her.

Years ago we had a lab that got separation anxiety and would chew the tip of his tail and before long we had blood spatters at home on the walls.
We nursed the wound several times with the same thing happening again a couple more times.
Ended up having it docked (which is major surgery in an adult).
It was expensive but he was our bud.

I had a cat looked like her 40 yrs ago, her name was Bip, she got knocked up real soon (the slut) and we kept the kittens. After they got mobile the whole group was known as the Thundering Horde. It was a hoot
