Masters pack is on it's way. "5 ML Master Pack 16 oz Buddha Grow, 16 oz Buddha Bloom, 16 oz Trinity, 8 oz Amino Aide, 8 oz Big Swell, 8 oz Ancient Amber, 8 oz Extreme Serene, 8 oz HP2, 8 oz HPK, 1.8 oz Oregonism XL. This nutrient line is designed to be used in potting soil."

Thanks for the info on the kit! Still working on improved lighting for flowering. Glad someone finally decided to talk crap about Mars :D
That OregonismXL is your bread and butter. That is your microbes, trichoderma, and mycorrhizae with kelp, alfalfa, and yucca? I believe? That thing will make your nutrients super-accessible and your plants will get pretty beefy, structurally as well as flower-wise. Use it sparingly. A littlw does a lot. Like, a third of a teaspoon or smaller ever two weeks, and in your final pot, use half a teaspoon every couple or few weeks.

I'm so glad you recommended them. Exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't stand the AN website. These guys seem to be very straight forward and quality driven

Not trying to talk shit, because I've never used AN, but one of the two co-owners is a pedophile. I believe he is under suspicion or he has been convicted of the rape of a 13-year-old girl. The dude with the Russian/Ukrainian/Czech/Some-kind-of-Slavic name.

If you've gotta advertise that hardcore with that many product lines, there's a problem lol. I get that there's something for everyone, but come on now

Roots Organics' official site. I use their Formula 707 medium and their Dry Nutrients Player Pack. However, if you decide to also get any of their media, roll with Original and don't add nutes (except the OregonismXL which you can plant the taproot directly in) for 3 weeks. I like 707, but I had to master its water holding capabilities first. It's got more peat than coco, less perlite and pumice, so it holds water longer than mostly-coco based media, and it is pretty much near bare of nutrients, maybe a week's worth. If you choose to go that direction (707), you MUST remember to water only every 4-5 days UNLESS it dries out sooner or the medium still feels wet when the 4th or 5th day comes.

Those giant grow bags will be awesome this Summer. Hoping to have a lot of stuff ready to go outside

I have used A/N on and off for years now the same with foxfarm... I have always liked AN for the pH perfect effects but with that said from time to time you still have to adjust you pH and the advanced product line is so effing expensive... a smallest bottle of voodoo juice is like 45 bucks at my local hydro store... I have used ffof plenty and I feel it is worth while soil, when anyone I know personally asked what to use I recommend ffof.... currently I'm using the full ff nutrient lune and not and issue... I have to agree with post from earlier about the viparspec leds... I have a 600w vipar led system in a 3x3 space covering one plant..I love the light..... keep in mind how big 1 meter squared is, 9 times out of ten you will need every bit of that meter squared for one plant.. you don't want to over crowd your grow room with too many plants if you do you will not have the same out come because of light lacking the ability to penatrate the canpiy of all the plants you have, i would recomend getting some side lights. If only ran one plant at a time you wouldn't run into this issue And if it were my grow i would build a scrog screen and max out your plants yield (if you have done everything right)... in a few pics you post I saw curled leaves... looks like stress to me, might be wrong and I have been plenty. . all of this is an amazing journey.. I started back in 2010 reading all I could here at riu and got and good push to start my grow... at one point I had 4 veging little girls in my closet (about the size of your) when it came time to flip the light I decided to put them out side during the day and bring them in to finish their light cycle.on rainy days they would stay inside also but they finished full outdoor... so like I said it is a journey for all beginners, but when this one grow is done you will be flying high and a lot more confident then right now.... just think of the nugs your going to grow your self, it can be nerve racking first time, but just remember this acronym..
K.I.S.S (keep it simple silly) and don't forget less is more when it comes to nutrients, you don't want to have a burnt crispy plant come the finish line.... I'll be subing and and watching. I'll be and round if you need advice... this is the place to be for growers of all shape and sizes......

Less is definitely more. The only time you should give the plant a heavy dose is if for some reason your light doses weren't enough and it is suffering deficiencies.

The Player Packs come with a Master Schedule. I don't follow it usually, because I just pay attention to the leaves and know what to look for. You should stick to the master schedule, giving light feedings after 2-3 weeks until you learn what you are looking at if you don't already. If you ever need help, myself or plenty of other jokers here will be more than willing to help.

What is all the led hate about..... I have nothing but good results. ... have to keep well in mind it is not a hps light and you will get less but the buds will he alot nicer, im looking for quality over quantity.... 1gpw is a estimate, you have to be on point with everything... that is what you can get... first run thru i would be happy to finish and have some smoke for my head.... time will teach you everything g if you apply your self as it sounds you have...

3w/5w LED panels won't outperform COBs. I believe 1.5 GPW is pretty typical. Not to say they won't work, and not to say he shouldn't use the Mars now that he has it. There are just more effective options, and I'd just really hate to see his light take a shit until mid-flower, but if he can't return it, he should use it until it's beat. Then get COBs when he can afford it.

True... but that vipar 600w is a Hella goodnight for the price. Runs cool quiet and it doesn't blind you when you open the tent lol..... I haven't used led for long I have been traditional for many years but I am happy to of switched it up.... I want quality and I am sure getting it.. as long as I don't foliar feed everything is gravy with it, I had less burn from my hps with foliar feeds but it is what it is cha ching and beast bloom make up for that loss in my opinion

I had two ViparSpectra V450s. I do prefer them to Mars, but one of my 85w COBs puts out more PPFD than two ViparSpectra V450s combined. That's pretty significant when you consider two are 412w at the wall vs. one 85w COB, and it isn't equal, it's more powerful. For 241w, I get around the same PPFD as a 600w HPS. They are slightly more expensive if you go prefab, but it is worth the investment, and if you are tech savvy, the cheapest way is to DIY a proper COB fixture.

Gotta find something in the $200 range for this first grow. Once I get back to work and have to worry about heat and electric this Summer, I will definitely check these out! Just can't justify dropping 500-600 on a light right now with a few more months of Winter left for me. I know it will save me on electric in the long run, and I love not worrying about heat, so when I expand to my bigger flowering room this is most likely what I will use. What's my $200-$300 alternative that will beat out the yield from the original 2 LEDs?
Just about all growers here started small. Not that many filthy rich growers... My first grow was so pathetic! I used a mercury vapor bulb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grow - learn, burn some herb, start over........
