Could anyone give me a rough guide for the efficiency of the cxm22 driven at 700ma and what driven would best suit this? Thanks in advance for any help.

the one youre linking is a few years old, completely different chip
For sure I was looking at the old one... its the first one that pops up in a google search.. so the new ones are 50v minimum..shitty..

I've been gone from here for about 2 years now and i figure its time to upgrade my setup.. you can see it at the link below

https://www.rollitup.org/t/efs-r-diy-led-circuits-arduino-hot-peppers-and-more-thread.840144/page-2#post-10869092

I think its time to upgrade and am looking for a viable options.. I have 2x hlg-185h-c1050b currently driving 4 cxa3070 each... the drivers max out at 190v so i guess the cxm22 is out.. what else is there besides the CXB's?

I'm getting ready to do an Led build and wanted to know what you'd recommend. I'll be doing high efficiency water cooling, with only 3 or 4 plants at a time. But they take up a lot of space in the 25 gallon fabric pots. Trying to stay under or around $200 and have mixed spectrum from 2700-5k.

The citizen cobs look like a better deal price wise over the Veros. And with the water cooling I'm looking to drive them wide open. The grow area will be in an open space no tent.

update:
had a GREAT shipping day and were finally catching a break after 4 days of nonstop storms. woke up to this:
upload_2017-1-5_22-52-46.png

that was like 3 feet in 4 days which is unusual. but enough about the weather...

i have just about every non-custom order both domestic and international packed up and will be dropping fri. morning. and am caught up for the first time in awhile so should be knocking out ALL custom builds this weekend. orders will be back to same or next day shipping. I have a bunch of real work stuff to do so wont be geeking out with the sphere and other stuff for another week or so but hope to be geeking out and back at the forum regularly next weekend.

thanks for those who have been helping people with questions, sometime this weekend ill roll back a few pages in the thread and make sure everybodys questions got answered.

i still need to go thru orders and do shipping corrections and will be doing that this weekend. if something doesnt look right or youre not seeing tracking by this weekend, hit me up on sunday and ill investigate

thanks everybody

Cheers ;)

chill everybody, i sent over 20 orders out yesterday, they went thru our rural PO and its not uncommon for them to take a day or two to hit the main PO in reno and track.

theres a very good chance that if your order is in limbo its in that batch. just about everybody in that batch is getting free shipping i have a stack of stuff to go thru. AFAIK everything placed up til last weekend is out and theres a few hanging out from this week that i will be packing tomorrow if all goes well

i think i have more, i just put up 50 at a time so i dont run out. look on the site this weekend once i get caught up

its not easy to keep inventory as multiple products use them, like i cant have site keep inventory for both bare heatsink and a passive cxm combo (which uses a heatsink). so once in a while, somebody will order a chip or a heatsink or a light engine right when someone else does and i cant cover it. nobody likes that :)
Im not sure how your inventory system works, you've probably thought of this already, but you could keep said heat sinks and other parts for kits aside and label them "kit" at the end of your part number. It would show up as a seperate stock line that way. I guess that would mean setting some stock aside though specifically for kits. I gather you want to keep all stock available as much as possible.

I used to work in a car parts store and had to create kit part numbers all the time using kerridge. Just my 2 pence :)

the heat sinks used on the CXM-22 passive light engines
have drill holes on the sides, top or bottom?
2 holes opposite on the sides. they also have 4 holes on the face near the edge that is meant for a leand, you could mount with those as well

i think what im going to do is bust a lot of heatsinks into 4 and 8 pack boxes ready to ship, do up a bunch and offer them at a special price. shipping heatsinks is the worst sometimes when someone orders heatsinks and drivers etc in one order it can take up to a half an hour to pack up one order

site doesnt update, but paypal does. you should get an email when the label is generated, it usually ships within a day or two of generating a label in most cases (this last week excepted)

small update: while cleaning up yesterday i found a small stack of 2 or 3 orders that were in that 12/30-31 batch, these will go out tomorrow with the 1/1-17 orders

getting my thumb on it and it finally stopped snowing thank god (tho its raining balls.. im cool with that despite the power being out half the day)
