Bought a House with an old orchard. Any tips or hints?

Thank you everyone for your replies. I really appreciate the information. Once it stops snowing I'm going to start pruning. I'll try the treatments that were suggested too. I'll update as I go along

Idk where your located but I'm in Z6 and I have failed with all the members of the prunus (sp) family from cherries to apricots and peaches. There is some sort of rust or blight that gets them b4 they mature. I probably should have noticed that the choke cherries growing wild here are all sick and I should have just stuck with the apple family or the more unusual edibles. I'm assuming that you have apricots grafted on to a different root stock. Fruit trees like a hard pruning and yours look like they need attention. Folks are right guiding you to your local ag office and pretty much everywhere has a county cooperative extention. They should be able to direct you to someone who will prune them properly and once they've been pruned you should be able to maintain their shape on your own. Don't worry about blemished fruit. There was a song.. Give me spots on my apples but leave me the birds and bees. Mmmm I can't think of the name of the song but I left most of my memory back in the 70's so WTH.
