Unfortunately there are registered pesticides approved by Health Canada for use on Medical Marijuana... Unless a Licensed Producer in writing explicitly states they do NOT use pesticides you can assume they do.. Because well if they didn't that would be a 'selling' factor for them to acquire patients..
Butttt even if they do say that one can assume they still might here and there and not get caught. Until Health Canada revokes one of their licenses for pulling stunts like this they will all play around until they get caught

ANYTHING sprayed on a Medical Grow is NOT NEEDED specially when it goes into a concentrates OR its smoked.

Any LP spraying their crops needs to find a way in order to deal with what ales them.
If it means starting over again and cleaning shop each time an infestation occurs...
that's all part of business...company's shut down all the time.
There are ways to do this right but who would give them that info?

If you look at those approved pesticides they are basically Potassium Bicarbonate based or beneficial microbe based. http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/marihuana/info/licencedproducer-producteurautorise/pesticides-eng.php

AND They are only needed in order to keep their sad business practices up and running.
There is NO EXCUSE TO POISON MEDS FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.

and they all use this shit....Hence..THEY ALL USE POISON TO PRODUCE MMJ
No one was talking about concentrates, not that it matters but just shows how wrong the whole idea of spraying anything on your medication is.

Registered Pesticides
As of May 12, 2015, there are seven registered pesticides approved by the Pest Management Regulatory Agency for use on cannabis (marijuana) that is produced commercially indoors. They are:

  • MilStop® Foliar Fungicide
  • Actinovate® SP Fungicide
  • Opal Insecticidal Soap
  • Neudosan Commercial
  • Kopa Insecticidal Soap
  • Rootshield® HC Biological Fungicide Wettable Powder
  • Rootshield® WP Biological Fungicide
Information and labels for these pesticides is available on the Pesticides and Pest Management section of the PMRA website.

Adherence to Good Production Practices
Section 52(1) of the MMPR prohibits a licensed producer from selling or providing dried marijuana unless the
Good Production Practices set forth in Division 4 of the MMPR have been met. This includes the requirements for use of pesticides.

Non-compliance
In the event that an unregistered pesticide is used on marijuana plants that are intended for sale or provision, Health Canada will require licensed producers to destroy the marijuana plants and/or dried marijuana, and/or proceed with a recall if the product has already been sold.

Should this not be a reason for suspension of said licence's....with fines....????
its an unregistered pesticide knowingly used with the knowledge that if they get caught..
they only have to recall....and destroy....
seems like no regulation at all....really...

There are a few more now approved by Health Canada that have been distributed to LPs just not yet published.. but again all with the same common ingredients

- MilStop Foliar Fungicide
- Bioprotec CAF
- Bioprotec Plus
- Botanigard ES
- Botanigard 22 WP
- Vegol Crop Oil
- Agrotek
- Actinovate SP Fungicide
- Opal Insecticidal Soap
- Neudosan Commercial
- Kopa Insecticidal Soap
- Rootshield HC Biological Fungicide Wettable Powder
- Rootshield WP Biological Fungicide

I don't care what they're made of I don't want any sick person in my life consuming any amount of them. Unless those ingredients cure cancer

they should be testing for the approved pesticides as well. used in veg only ok, but a fail if any trace is found on flowers or in oil. seeing as these are not meant to be smoked..

Am I correct in interpreting this, that they are required to use pesticides as part of their good production practices?

.....or test for anything they use .... soil plants.... test for shit in the soil... use a fertilizer. ... test for that

That way they don't need unnecessary testing for everything under the sun
Video surveillance 24 7.....
And the lp doesn't test it self.... but has to be open 24 7 for suprised spot tests
