Yeah I'm looking into boosting the light delivered. I definitely want something more productive for the time that was put into them. I wouldn't mind at least 200g for the 4-5 months put in.

Was looking at up to 350w.

Decided to have another peek. Hairs are more brown now. Still plenty of white though. Can't really check the trichs. Don't have anything better than a 10x loupe. I don't really shop online either.

She really smells like cannabliss though. Defs want to get that sorted before the next lot get their knickers all cheesy.

Curious though. She's been sitting in 35°c heat. Is that okay? Because I've not noticed anything different. No wilting. No bleaching. Nothing unusual.

Started getting round two ready today. I'll probably convert this cabinet to a veg chamber once I've figured out what my next one is.

The bucket is dodgy as shit. But, the remaining garlic smell is kinda nice.
That's the only bigger thing I've got for this next run so far. At least now I've got 20L.

Went to go turn my supersoil today. Seems to be relatively healthy. I found a few small seedlings trying to make it in the dark of the shed. And quite a few more worms than what I'd thrown in there.

Still running with random seed. The one with the split cotyledon came from a long, citrusy bud. The other is from my mystery container.

They're just under a 20w 5000k cfl right now. Tried to get the second lamp in there. But it left no room for the seedlings. They'll be swapped for the current one. Once the cab is free.

Just a shot of the 5 headed midget. Going to leave her for another week or two. Unless you guys think I should go longer/sooner?20161228_150343.jpg

You'll want to put a reflector on that CFL or turn it on its side. Very little of its light output is going down to the seedlings as its pictured. You can make a reflector custom out of cardboard and aluminum foil in a pinch.

January 2 update. I dun goofed...

I wanted some smoke for new years eve. So I decided to chop a little bit of the larfy and shoved it in the oven to dry. 20mins later I got relatively dry buddage.

The smoke was kinda rough. No real taste. But the high comes in waves. It's a creative one. With a bit of a relaxed edge to it.

Anywhoozle. So. I liked the smoke that much. I went back to chop the rest of the larfy and leave the five main heads to properly finish up.

Nope. I somehow managed to clip the stem on one of my mains. Now I've only got 4 heads remaining.

It's in a jar held up by wire, drying. Lid off.20170101_221018.jpg

8th Jan.

Couldn't be fkd waiting any longer. Chopped. Trimmed and speed dried the whole lot.

Now it's gone. Patience is not my forté.

I'm running a bagseed sog this time. Already looks like there's various types in there.

Ah. Fuck. Sorry. Guess I'm too fekkin tired to know what I'm writing. Been cleaning a house the past two days solid.

Okay. So males are a waste of time unless I want pollen. Or to knock up my girls, right?

Also. Keep in mind. I've mainly only been a smoker. Not a grower. I'm new to this.
If you want to get seeds let your male flower, separately from the female. Then collect the pollen in a baggie. Store it until the female has been flowering for about 3 weeks. Spread that pollen on some branches or all of the plant. Bam at the end of harvest seeds. It's a neat experiment. But if you just want seedless bud kill all males the moment you realize they are males.

Hey man! Sorry I haven't popped in for a while. I have to say, I think congratulations are in order on your first completed grow! She was a frosty one, that one. Sounds like she didn't disappoint either. I see you already have number two under way as well! You don't waste any time, do ya? Lol. I'll be back on more often as soon life slows down a bit. Keep up the good work and good luck on round 2.:hump:

Cheers Waxer. Yeah man. I want to get shit done asap.

Smoke was surprisingly good. Despite my inability to wait till it was fully cured and dried.

I might have been able to cure some if I had a bit more to begin with. What I got was what I'd smoke in about a week.

There's nothing wrong with that! You still got a little smoke and you're more knowledgeable on how to take things in the right direction in your next grow! All good things from where I'm sitting. How much, dried, would you say you got from her, if you had to guess?

Okay. So I've separated all my plants because I could already tell some were just going to either be taller or bigger than the others. They've all got their own pots now.

I've got two small plants and two larger ones.
I'm trying one party cup. Two 5L buckets. And the last one is in a bigger 20L bucket.

This is in the 20L. Once again there's a "rip" in some of the leaves. Which I've figured out to be these annoying little black flying fuckers. Not that I can even get a good photo of them.

Node spacing looks pretty good. Not quite as tight as the last one. But that's fine. It'll get good air flow.

Here's my party cup wannabe.
20170117_172633.jpg
Same deal. Good node space. Not really stretching for the light. Also. It's sitting right next to the one in my cab. Just that it's in a tiny cup... For shits and giggles. Also, the experience of massively under doing the growing medium.20170117_172607.jpg
Here's the two from outside. One is burnt. The other I found growing in the medium after I thought it wasn't going to germinate. 20170115_134057.jpg 20170114_091517.jpg
I know. I know. I spammed with the images. Your device hates it. But, I know you guys love it.

Probably should have these in their own thread. But, I'm lazy AF!

Also. The two in the 5L buckets are outside. That's why the bigger one got burnt. I also found that tiny one about a day or so after putting the bigger one in the shade. Nice little surprise. Maybe I'll end up with more females this time. Who knows.

It's one I've built. A recyclable garden scrap boosted super soil. I used this stuff to grow my last run. I can't complain about the smoke that grew from it. Just that I'd managed to get a cola can sized dwarf plant.

When I said burnt. I meant sun burn. I came home to a very wilted plant. However- this one didn't completely fry. Unlike the first one that got cooked in the heat. They've been moved to a semi shady spot.

This one looks like it's recovering from its sunburn. I'm hoping it's female. I'd like to see how a Sativa looking plant goes versus last run's Indica.20170121_180736.jpg

My other outdoor plant is still tiny. 20170121_180827.jpgHere's my little party cup. Right next to my chunky indica looking thang. They're good too. Maybe a slight issue. But, otherwise okay. 20170121_230348.jpg 20170121_230514.jpgfor reference. That's a 630ml soup cup. 20170121_230607.jpg
Almost looks like the little one is hungry for Nitrogen though. Guess that's the fun of a party cup. Regular feedings and watering.

You never know man. It could just be a lighter pheno... I could also, very well, be talking out of my ass.:dunce:

I was reading @HighLowGrow 's BKR thread the other day and apparently it's a thing. Care to weigh in here man? What do you think?

Hm. Maybe. I don't really know. As I never got to see the plants these seeds came from.

I'm just hoping to get at least two females this time. And that they're at least a couple coke cans tall this time. Not just barely taller than one.

I may even try a pollen chuck if I get three females. It'll only be on one though.
