I doubt they would have stopped the advance even if half of their tank force was T-34s. Their tank forces were operationally obsolete and their officer corps had been mostly murdered. Using a TRUMP! style of management, politically reliable people were put in command regardless of their incompetence in the field.

the spring on my 6 year old set of shears just broke. i was deeply saddened.

i went out to buy new shears and saw those, declined. bought a new pair of pink shears, used them one night, loved them. could not find them the next night.

Speaking of Hitler, I’m ending my support of UC Berkeley, where I got my MBA years ago. I have been a big supporter lately, with both my time and money, but that ends today. I wish them well, but I wouldn’t feel safe or welcome on the campus. A Berkeley professor made that clear to me recently. He seems smart, so I’ll take his word for it.

I’ve decided to side with the Jewish gay immigrant who has an African-American boyfriend, not the hypnotized zombie-boys in black masks who were clubbing people who hold different points of view. I feel that’s reasonable, but I know many will disagree, and possibly try to club me to death if I walk on campus.

Yesterday I asked my most liberal, Trump-hating friend if he ever figured out why Republicans have most of the Governorships, a majority in Congress, the White House, and soon the Supreme Court. He said, “There are no easy answers.”

I submit that there are easy answers. But for many Americans, cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias hide those easy answers behind Hitler hallucinations.

the T-34 and KV class were both in service at the time and gave the Nazis a nasty surprise. German tanks were not particularly good at the time, it was their tactics that won the day.

I bought these 2 '70s vintage Tamiya motorized tank model kits at a local collectibles shop for ~$30 apiece, then turned around and sold them on eBay- the Hunting Tiger brought $143.50 and the KV-1 brought $305, both went to the same high-bidder in Hong Kong.

Gerrymandering, 18th century electoral college, fake news/alternative facts, an uninformed-low participation electorate, and mindless idiots who think Trump can bring back jobs to ghost towns (even though factory modernization and movement is more responsible than trade agreements).

People who protest generally do so to right a catastrophic wrong, like the civil rights movement and Viet Nam.

Enjoy your short stay on top, blow back will be fierce and unrelenting especially since you're in the minority from the start.
