This is my black lime reserve S1. Or as we call it round here Black Lime Bag Seed. BLBS. I should say we are assuming that is what it is. It was 1 seed in a couple oz of some really great herb we got while in NJ. The guy we got it from always came proper and wasn't in the business of faking names. He said it came from a hydro grower in Rhode Island. Guy also grew Alaskan Ice and Slush Puppy. I'd love to find out the story for sure but she'll be a keeper in my garden. Smells like citrus in veg and as flower takes off she progresses through all sorts of chemmy funk from rotten food, burning rubber, and incense. She ends up curing out too a really unique funk. Something chemically, something savory food smelling and a lot of sharp incense smell. I'm hoping one of the stat dawg crosses I have will give me a male that will beef her up and add another layer of frost and Chem funk to itIMG_4031.JPG

If you want a 10 pack to throw in the vault PM me. Even if you don't plan on popping em in the foreseeable future. I enjoyed your thread in the outdoor section last year and I'm all about spreading the love.
Thanks man, very generous of you. I have nothing to offer most as far as seeds or starts. I try to spread the love as a jar chucker...:peace:
My endeavor to make seed last season failed miserably. I sexed my Bangi Haze early on and found a couple males. Threw one under a T5 and collected some pollen in an airtight container. Dusted a few limbs on 4 plants in early sept....no seeds. I stored the pollen away non refrigerated for 3 months...must have been my demise.
I'll leave the breeding to those of you that know what they are doing such as your self.

Well let's not get carried away. If people think I know what I'm doing they might start having expectations. I think storing your pollen that way did it. I've noticed a huge drop off in viability of the pollen after storage. Even in a jar in the freezer after 3 months I'm only getting 75% of the seeds I would've when it was fresh.

Decided to pop some more beans. 5 each of Mothertongue F2, Killer Grape x Animal Cookies, Blue City Diesel x Mothertongue and ace high from green point(Ohio lemon g x stardawg). I had 2 beans I pulled out of a Dr Funkenstein Nug when my black lime fthrough some late flower nanners. It was when I was running a perpetual and the black lime got pushed aside and dried out. This was about 2 weeks in for the dr Funk and she caught a touch of pollen.IMG_4903.JPGTonight I'll be using my favorite seed starting tech. Pretty simple. Gives me an awesome success rate and by far the easiest ever. 3 oz aloe and a 1/2 tsp kelp. I like this dr earth stuff and it has 6% humic acid derived from kelp. Purée aloe into gallon of water and strain. Add kelp and soak jiffy pellets til hydrated. I'll use whatever left to water the pellets already in the tray and the seedlings in the tent.image.jpg
Just direct sow the seeds in the pellets. No pre soak or paper towel. Minimum effort, maximum results.

I threw up a quick veg spot in my ready room. Put up a 1k MH and moved 4 mothers out of veg tent with the 400. Saturday I'm moving a light mover from an old veg spot in and I'm beginning to take loads of cuts to sell to people for this years outdoor. IMG_4896.JPGIMG_4901.JPG IMG_4902.JPG IMG_4900.JPG
Everyone should check out Joshua Steensland on YouTube. His Wednesday night no til live talks have been crushing it. Until next time stay safe and happy farming.

I'm hugely into repurposing and recycling things that would have otherwise been tossed. I scored all of these little trays in a free pile at a garage sale. They work great in my clone tent on the bottom where I have a 150 hps and a small 18" flourescent. The hood for the 150 was made from 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket and a mogul socket I scored from an old shop light. IMG_4904.JPGThen on the top of the table I have a 400 watt hps. The clones are sitting in a tray also from a free pile at a garage sale. It was an under bed storage bin from ikea

Yeah, my flower room is in pieces right now. I've got most of my boxes done and all of my fabric pots sewn. I made 12, 2'x2'x1.5' felt pots that sit on home made dollies. I framed them in 1"x2" with a frame for a trellis at 3' I have 50 casters ordered that should be here in the next couple days.
Then The last thing to do is buy my EWC and worms. I've got all my amendments, peat and aeration. I did all organic water only pots last year. But in the #7- #15 range. Pretty much Cootz recipe with some teas a la MountainOrganics and build a soil. I have a small worm farm I got at a garage sale for $5 that I put 250 local harvested wigglers into. I also have a couple compost bins and a pile of leafs from last year that are the beginning of my leaf mould. We've got 5 rabbits that make a lot of poop. I planted 8, bocking 14 comfrey plants last year but it was on the side of my house right along the fence in soil that is 50% gravel and they got poor sun so I'm dividing and moving them to a better spot along with some a friend is gifting me and I plan on trying to transplant some nettle as there is a lot of it around. I've got neem, silica, yucca, other essential oils, fulvic/humic, LAB culture, and some other organic pest sprays I had for my outdoor last year. Azamax, spinosad and green cure. I'm making 4 yards of soil mix and just need to get to Camas to get compost if I can get some time off.
Hopefully it should be done in the next week or 2. First round of seed plants just got topped and I'll move em from solo cups to #2 smartpots in the next couple days and then moved under the 1k to veg out and take clones from. Still deciding what's going to go where as I have a 3k flower room as well as the dep and full term plants. Should be a fun year. Stay safe and happy farming

Had to mix up enough soil to transplant 25 seedlings into #2 smartpots and fill enough cups for the next round of seeds. This seemed to be a pretty good blend of compost while spending little and more importantly driving less.IMG_4914.JPGI mix it up in a compost tumbler. It works pretty well.
IMG_4915.JPGI also picked up some cloning supplies for the next round.

So I usually veg under hps or flouros but i had a 1k MH that I started using about a week ago. My mothers love it and I couldn't be happier. I was in there today and I noticed that my blue city diesel has some leaves that are starting to purple. I've ran this cut for almost 2 years now and while it always fades out nicely in flower, I've never had it do this before. I've actually never had a plant purple in veg. I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before and if it could be from the MH. The plants have been in the same pots/medium for 2 weeks before I switched from HPS to MH so it's the only thing I can think of. Thanks in advance for any input. IMG_4919.JPG

Clone time. Took 30-35 cuts each of my black lime, blue city diesel and sour Urkel. Soak for 12hours in aloe and kelp water. Soak rapid rooters or peat pucks in same aloe kelp water. I've been doing peat pucks for seeds and rapid rooters for clones for a while but since rapid rooters cost almost 2x as much I've decided to do a side by side. After soaking for 12 hours I use fresh aloe like clones gel and put them in their homes. I've always found rapid rooter holes too. If so I make my own off to the side. My Devils cut mother was revegged and has been throwing 1 and 3 blade leaves for the last 4 weeks. It just started to put out 5 leaves so I'm going to give it another week or so before I take cuts off it.

And now I'm going to go rip this sour Urkel flower rosin and try and prepare for the 15 hour shift you get when you run the kitchen at a local tap house on st patty's day. Til next time, stay safe and happy farming.

My preference also, jiffy pellets for seeds and root riot for cuts, can't go wrong with em, I do a very similar aloe/kelp soak for both too..........or used to, lol
