Germany has done very well in its trade deals with the U.S.

Cuz that's gonna stay the same. Germany is considering leaving the EU like Britain...meanwhile states are starting to really push the us, reality and all.
You're VERY stupid.

Germany is the one telling people NOT to leave, retard.

It's France and the Netherlands that have popular anti-EU right wing parties running in upcoming elections.

Merkel even said it in the Trump-Conference.

I believe Trump is going to have conflict with any country who's citizens have a grip on their government.
Think of the wage increase VW would have brought to Korea. No way GM would stand for that.
Hell, even the So. Carolina governor said he didn't want VW's high wages in his state.

Austria is basically a carbon copy of Germany.

"Austria" in their own language (German) is "Austrian Empire".

European States were at war for like a thousand years, why would any of them want the breakup of the EU?

I was under the impression that the US had trade deals with the eu and being that Germany are part of the eu then they are covered under this. L

What trade deals?

When I was living in Europe if my family wanted to post me something from the States I'd have to pay import tax.

Actually I think they might just be collecting value added tax. That's how they do. Products are taxed as they move through the production chain. Foreign products are taxed similarly.
