First Time Grow

I got rid of my Viparspectra 600 in favor of some cobs. I used some angled aluminum and made a temporary bracket until i make the final bracket for them. Right now they are in a 4x2 tent, but after this grow i will be setting up a dedicated 2x2 Veg tent so i will be using these cobs for veg only and will build a bracket to fit the 2x2 area. I just wanted to get them hooked up so I can start using them and get rid of the ugly blurple leds.

5000k Veg Light Setup (draws 185watts at the wall according to my picowatt):
4 x Citizen CLU048-1212 5000K 80CRI GEN6
SST133 Passive Heat sinks
Ideal Holders
LEDiL Angelina reflector
Meanwell HLG-185H-C1400B Driver

March 17 and It's been cold in Massachusetts and keeping the temp consisistent has been a struggle in the garage. As you can see the temps drop considerably at lights off even with the heater
Don't worry about temp drop that much, as long as they don't freeze. Temp drops are normal in a natural environment, and purple strains love it

Worked 12 hours today but came home at 9pm to my fan being delivered. When I left this morning the humidity was still out of control so I opened up one of the vents to increase circulation. I hooked up my fan so hopefully this will
Solve some of my problems

td silent series 100xs with a phresh 4x12 carbon filter.

The two plants I cropped have developed two terminal buds as planned. How much do I allow them to grow before I top them a 2nd time?
I never top twice, as that will set back finish time every time you do. I wait until I have 4 strong branches, and then top to keep the plant under control as far as height is concerned, and to get dual colas. Don't trim too much, as the plants need all the leaves they have for energy and transpiration

Really need to get my humidity under control. Fan won't be here till tomorrow now. Ordered a dehumidifier as well in case the fan doesn't solve the problem. Otherwise everything seems to be looking good to my newb eyes. I only watered the two established plants today as I am letting the seedlings dry a little to promote some root growth after a heavy water yesterday when I transplanted them
What's the humidity level?

Before I got the exhaust fan set up the humidity was ranging between 70-94%. After I installed the fan it come down to 50-70%(from what i have read this is fine for veg right?)
50 is optimum, 70 is pushing it, but will be OK with a lot of air movement. Stick a small fan in the tent, and move the air as much as possible, like make the plants move to the air blowing past them. That will be the key to prevent mold, which is your enemy in a high humidity environment.

i have a small fan blowing already

I loveeee these white lights ❤
I wish I just made the invenstment from the start. I started with a 500 budget all in. Now I have close to 1000 invested just in lights haha.

Humidity has been hovering right around 55%, with a peak of 73 in the past 24 hrs. Temperature has had a low of 52 and high of 72. Getting some milder weather this week so I should be able to get a little higher temps.

Gave all the plants a feed today. I have been feeding the older plants everyday, and the younger plants every other day until they further develop their roots. How do they look?

The older ones are 35 days since sprout and the younger ones are 20 days since sprout.

How do u like them airpots? Great setup too!

So the seedlings seem to be coming along good at about 3 weeks old now.
I am starting to worry about my two bigger plants though. The plants are growing very compact and the leaves in the center seem to be almost shriveled up and curling. I have attached pictures. Are they normal or is something wrong.? Humidity in the tent was around 55 and temp about 77. Lights are about 2 ft from the top of the plant.

Well the humidity in the tent improved with the airflow but it caused the humidity outside the tent to skyrocket to 70%+. I bought a small dehumidifier tonight in hopes to pull some moisture out of my garage. I also decided to raise the lights a little, not sure if that's causing the weird leave growth

I have 4x50 watt citizen 3000k and 4x50 3500k for flower totaling 400w

Well my humidifier pulled over a gallon of water out of my garage in less than 24 hrs. Humidity has gone from over 70% to ~~50%. Gave my plants a good water today since I didn't water them yesterday.

How do they look?

They are drinking. It looks like the blue dream might have a magnesium deficiency as it is super veiny and almost brittle. the coco was almost completly dry today when i went to water it. I think i might be underfeeding/watering them and this might be some of my problems. I gave them 1.5 gallons between the 5 plants today and barely got to runoff. Humidity in the tent ranged from 42-61% over the past 24 hrs so that is getting under control. I hung my 2 timber cobs which i will be using for flowering when i flip the switch.

I topped the 3 newer plants. I accidentally snapped one of my tops on the og kush yesterday. I was hoping it would heal itself but it just wilted up. Not sure if I should cut it off or leave it and see if it regraffs itself. What do you think?

The two bigger plants are too short and busy. the top leaves are covering up all the inner leaves and growth. i trimmed some of the top fan leaves and tried to bend some of the branches to allow more light penetration to the inner leaves.
