WTF, this is bullshit. The CBC article opens with:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has repeatedly said the goal of legalization is to restrict access of marijuana to minors and choke off profits from sales by organized crime.
But after the BB bullshit it goes on to say:

The new legislation provides for ticketing for possession that exceeds the personal limit by small amounts, or up to 14 years in prison for illegal distribution or sale. It also imposes tough new penalties of up to 14 years in prison for giving or selling marijuana to minors.

A new offense with a penalty of up to 14 years in prison will also be created for using a youth to commit a cannabis-related offense.

However, youth who are found in possession of up to five grams of marijuana would not be criminally prosecuted, in order to avoid consequences of criminal prosecution.
So which is it? I guess this is about beefing up the prohibition laws. If we fall into their revenue model we are OK then, well except for the driving issue. My mind is just reeling now. I need to go smoke a joint, my 7th for today so far. Then maybe a nice drive in the country.

I'm not surprised by any of the greed we see in these new and pathetic proposals. It's what we knew they wanted all along...all the cash via LP's.
This is why BOYCOTTING LP's is so important. They must be shown we won't cooperate. ...simple shit really.

Yes, and since these youth cannot legally buy it from an LP, where do you suppose they will get that up to 5 grams without fear of a criminal conviction. They really did not think this through did they? BM is not going anywhere, it will adapt.

I was listening to some constitutional 'experts' on the radio this morning and they say the impaired driving policy will be struck down. This whole thing is going to blow up in their faces. It's going to be fun to watch all the LP protections they carefully put in place disappear one by one...and the LP profits with them. Our courts have always protected our charter rights and this will be no different. It will be a shit show for years...

I kept sayin that but they all keep yelling at me saying it will be another way (:

and as always and once again...
I think the courts will kick their sorry asses back to where they belong and that our fight will become the deal that sinks them all for trying to force people ....that shit never works..said it before many many times and it holds true in this regard as well.
NO ONE LIKES BEING TOLD!!!!!!
