DIY with Quantum Boards

I have total confidence in my lights. I used to sell my own line of computers, I understand completely how the process works. Having also looked inside lights with bare drivers and wiring merely hand twisted together, yet with the Cert stickers on them, I prefer my own visual inspection of products I buy, and I do inspect them, inside and out. As a former Hewlett Packard field service engineer, I'm certainly much more qualified to judge products then you ever will be in your lifetime!
Shazam!

One thing I never tire of is how many highly qualified individuals I meet in this industry, many of them right here on this very forum.

Lmao.. Man this here internet is fucking hilarious. Man I don't know you from a can of fucking paint and you come on here early this morning to comment on a messages I posted like 4 days ago. You're actually dumb as a road lizard. If you're comfortable with lights that's not certified in your house good luck and god bless your soul engineer.... lmao

I think you dick ride to much. Your asshole should be really sore!!
you got spunk, ill give ya that haha.but the 50.00 boards out there have 1/3 less diodes on them so they should be 1/3 the price right ? plus that dude is doing like 50 to maybe 100 boards a month, you thought these original qb sold out fast.

guys we really gotta stop all the petty bs or start a quantum pissmatch thread because alot of good info gets buried in all the bs here.plus at some point they will just lock the thread :-x

Nah I really wasn't trolling I was genuinely asking what was the difference in the ones they selling and the ones on IG. I have a few nextlight panels (veg8's) and 1 mini I'm using strictly for veg. But I was looking at those boards to put in my 5x5. I'd rather spend to dollar on lights then spend chump change and don't get nothing in return.

idk if i can say its exactly wedding cake but its a def sweet smell and flavor i never had in a pot plant.i got married almost 30 years ago so i dont really remember what the cake smelled like haha.damn good smoke though.
the differences on the boards is huge, hlg sells qb 288 and 304 which is diode counts.i never counted the leds on those 50 dollar ig boards but they looked so spaced out it appears to be about 180 to 200 leds maybe.so its not apples to apples at all.thats just the board side, you start reading all the free info, advice, and service that hlg has provided here vs any of these part time ig sellers and its pretty clear who is the best.

but ill tell ya something about @robincnn ,he is one of the nicest guys you will find around here, and always there to answer even the dumbest questions, even when they have been asked over and over by the same people in here lol.but my point is when people come on this thread to bitch you will always have a bunch of us defending him because he's good people. but you feel free to troll up both the yodas, they've earned it lmao.

Got up early yesterday and ordered a 135 watt kit.. Now I find out it isn't certified.. Oh shit , guess it will go with every other un-certified light I own.. Don't need to be certified to grow weed.. Never been shocked and my house never burned down.. just sayin..
i had a store bought certified digital ballast melt down on me and almost burn my shop to the ground.if i had not been standing in there working im certain the whole place woulda went up in smoke.

the LEDs are certified, the driver is certified, the wire is certified, the connectors are certified. The board itself? I don't know. Is a DIY cob light certified? Should I pay to have it certified? Did the company you bought from get certified? You know it for a fact? They didn't pay a bribe to get it ( much cheaper and yes it happens ). Live in the real world and take those all important certs with a grain of salt. If you know quality components were used, and the product intensively tested prior to release, what's the problem?
Go to Lowes, etc. Tell me how many of those "UL" certified products really are........ The only way to know is to check with Underwriter's Laboratory. I'm sure you did before you but your lights.......

Don't want my input, don't make stupid comments. I bought from NGL/HLG because I KNOW their integrity, their commitment to their customers and to building quality products.
