Insomnia, Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, phantom limb, & PTSD

Yes, I have all these issues. It makes life real tough, I haven't had dreams in over a year. I have to wear a morphine patch for the nerve pain caused by the phantom limb, it feels like my fingers are being twisted(which aren't there anymore) quite a bit of the time, hurts like hell, but not all the time. The doctors don't seem to be able to help me much. I am experimenting now with OG kush and blue dream. Any recommendations that might help me with this hell I am in, would be appreciated.

Thanks.

phantom limb pain = nothing to say other than sorry, that sucks! hope over time, your body adjusts to the loss of the limb as far as the pain goes. just a thought but have you considered lowering your morphine dose as you start to smoke? the brain does perceive pain differently when on a strong narcotic.

as far as your other symptoms, it sounds like a triple whammy! you must be freaky tired all the time. my husband is suffering from sleep apnea and he is fighting going to the doctor for it - it is a terrible thing to be exhausted. kush is probably your best bet to help with insomnia but since you also have narcolepsy it might not be something you could smoke during the day. do you have a mask at night? smoking then would probably help you sleep. good luck dude. bongsmilie

Well don't lose hope ...after my mom passed when I was young,,my pops had to have a machine for sleep Ap....long story short I got him in the gym and helped him lose a bunch of weight (((over 100lbs)) and get his lungs strong ....he no longer needs it and is doing well to this day ....many many years without it now .....not sure if weight is an issue or if your able to be active .....but it really does help to exercise and be healthy as possible .......GL dude

Wish you well
