Gravity Flower Hardener

Have you harvest any of it yet? I have read that if you go full strength it will give your buds a funky tast.
Actually, the only one I used it on got bud worms in the main cola, so I had to chop after only getting to flush for a couple days. It's curing now, but a pre-cure test bud wasn't the tastiest I've had. The rest of the plant is drying now.

i wonder if its worth the price...does it really make your buds heavy (enough to where your getting more profit than spending money) the stuff cost like 30 bucks
What's thirty bucks, like two grams?

Yes it makes your buds heavier. I'd say mine increased 20% in weight at the least in two days. No shit. they didn't get much bigger, but they went from where I could squeeze the top and compress it to where my fingers were a half inch apart to where I couldn't squeeze it to where they were closer than an inch and a half without feeling like I was going to snap something. It took two days and all the buds were affected the same way, not just the man cola.

The only experience with HC products that I have had so far is the Bushmaster. I was feeding GH's line, using coco perlite in a flood and drain. I used the Bushmaster as a foliar spray @ the recommended dose, with no change in my nutes, and I achieved the desired results. Fat bushy squat plants that yielded no fluff.

Bushmaster is allright but it has nothing on Snowstorm(PurpleMax) and Gravity. This is the new line from Humboldt County, lived in mendo my whole life, EVERYONE uses gravity. Its like a religion out here, it works, might not be the cheapest but you will not be complaining in the end.

I am not quite understanding what your mean by "bushmaster is alright but it has nothing on purplemax or gravity.." They are different products that are used for different purposes, so what are you trying to convey when you say that bushmaster has nothing on the other products? Thanks...

daddychrisg you know what your talking about it is really like a religion up here in mendo.

gravity is the bomb, you will not be dissapointed with your results. BUT i recommend only using half of what is recommended to use, very powerful stuff. When used with snow storm aka purple maxx, your plants will literally be in heaven.

I used the recommended dosage of bushmaster fed it to 2 plants, now they dont have any fan leaves. I fed the recommended dosage of maxx to some other plants that were healthy and now I got 4 plants with all the fan leaves turning yellow fucking fried.
My hydro guy said that humboldt countys own is always getting death threats because thier shit burns plants. It fucked up my grow. I'll never use those fucking snake oils again. I'll stick to mixing my own organic high stregnth bloom nutes. I only used the recommended dosage because I used gravity in the past with no problem. But even gravity isnt all that. It made my buds harder when they were on the plant but those things shrunk up and lost that hardness after it was cut. And some of my plants it didnt do a damn thing.

You lived in mendocino your whole life and say everyone uses gravity? A chem fert is a religion? You must not know any of the organic growers in your area.

You sound like a guy with some organic knowledge, have you used anything organic that could possibly compare to what HCO claims there nutrients achieve?

I bought an 8 OZ bottle of gravity, and after reading all I could about it I added it to my rez at one ML per gallon for one feeding, and then I put the stuff in my kitchen drawer. I also have had trouble with HBC;s products. So I am not even going to use the rest of the gravity. Screw that stuff, my buds are good enough without.

Im new to organic growing. I got a couple whiteberry moms getting ready to make clones for my all organic sog. Honestly I dont know of any organic nutes (purple maxx is organic) that compete with hco. Ive used all three products with little success. Bushmaster and purplemaxx fried my plants at standard dosages. But Im positively sure that there are organic methods out there that will give you those results. I think it comes with lots of experience and trial and error, knowing your plants, etc. Im thinking though that orangebud is very fertilizer sensetive.

Not sure why it was never mentioned on this thread but the directions on Gravity also suggest to raise your lights (if using hps) 6-12 in. did anyone who commented on this thread follow that part of the directions, and did it matter if you did or not?

I just applied Purple Maxx and was wondering how long it takes for the purple if any to show up. I know it takes several weeks to see any kind of color changes, but i was just curious when things started to pick up for those who use Purple Maxx

Purple only shows up on about 25% of strains---product is more for increased resin production.---------You do need to raise your lights with the use of gravity 6 to 12 inches and after testing I would recommend 1 ml/gallon with 1/4 nutes for three consecutive watering's starting at the middle of week 5 for indi's and week 7 for sat's Then hit them with purple max at the same rate till the end of week 6 for indi's and week 8 for sat's( adjust time to the strain and hybrid dom's).
