I was google it and All that I was was some old topics from 2011 and hardly there isn't much grow logs on net...Whats your opinion on it?' I found few interesting theories, one is that is the most natural way of growing...
For me is interesting coz with few more plants you can get similar results like when growing autos, but cheaper.. And maybe its best way for us that dont like reg seed due to % of male plants,..

You can do it. I've done it in the past. you might not be happy with the results

Results in my experience are extremely strain dependent. Sativa leaning plants do much better than short flowering indicas.

I like to transplant up from small to larger pots to develop as full root ball as possible.

And it is all going to rely on the first 3-4 weeks going well or the plant will flower unhealthy.

It is much like autos but you can grow very high quality strains this way.

I tend to get 3-4 oz dry from a sour diesel hybrid 12/12 and 5-6 oz. with a 6 week veg. When I compared to 30 day veg results were very close.

The 12/12 plants grow weak stems and fewer leaves and need support. Unlike the same plant vegged for 6 weeks. Which also tends to stay more compact. Less stretchy like the 12/12ers.

I found on some other forums sticky by some dude named lil rasta..He claims he gets about 2 oz per plants..Trick is to plant them in 11l pots, never over-water them, let the fan blow air in them to get stronger steams....So if its true i can easy put 9 11l pots in my 1m2 tent..aNd If I can get 2oz per plant, that would be great!

I always space out plants to branch out into bushes to maximize plant count for my little room but I have seen where like you are describing the plants grow more single cola and stretch up together with very few branches.

And I guess it is still strain and grower dependent for results beyond the method.

I think about doing this again a lot to give me a room back in my house. But I would hurt my monthly output pretty bad with no vegged plants to plug into flower. Still takes 3-5 weeks before they start to bloom.

I do this to reduce my seed stock yearly. In a large grow tray I chuck handfulls in the dirt and wait. sometimes I score big sometimes not so much, mostly little under achievers result, still decent pipe fodder, but not worth messing with seriously.

This is a 12/12 grow from seed 6 weeks into flowering. Yield will likely be just over an oz on the healthier ones, might get more on a couple.
I'm not about yield but was wondering. They are short with nice colas and the pots can be packed tight together without them touching each other.
If I was going for yield and could fit 40 3 gallon pots in a 5x5 space. What yield per plant would make it worth it versus growing big and topping?

he said that if you do 12/12 from seed they dont branch out much, so you can put them more closely, hell I was doing 6 girls in 15l air pots, it can be real jungle in my 1m2 tent.. I think 9 11l air pots will be winning combo.. Only thing is I stop growing... but if and when I get back to it, I will def. try that method..

I think that single cola must be at least 30g when she fatten up a little.. Its a dope plant.Im subed for your grow!! What is pot size of that girl?? I think only and biggest advantage of 12/12 FS is time.. You save those 2 weeks they need to start flowering..

3 gallon pot in my soil mix.
My original intent was not to keep them on 12/12 long enough to flower but it happened sooner than I had hoped, long story, I'll fill the details of that on the journal at some point, but it is an interesting grow to me.

Im thinking of doing 12/12 from seed only because I have about 500 reg seeds and I feel horrible thinking of not using them. Running 25 at a time would probably be pretty fun, harvest/germ 5 seeds every 2 weeks.

same boat as turbo tokes got about 1000 seeds from last crop got two long 50l totes plan on putting 27 in each under a 1000w anybody ever tried putting them that close together?

Back in the day when autos were rare and e
12/12 from seed = Poorman's autoflower.
Many noobs tried to convince the membership that 12x12 from germ is good

but in reality the grower is shooting himself in the foot

photoperiodic plants have a natural phase of growth in the veg stage

its where we get that proper tree function

unlike the squat shitty autoflowers are

good luck

Not saying it is a great way to grow but an zip or two per plant is what I found. They grew up about a foot or so. The reason to do it was time and weed shortage. Hopefully I won't need to go there again but no regrets.

A few years ago I did 500 plants in solo cups with pearlite (and a rock to keep the solos from floating) in an ebb and flow system. The system was just used to water two times a day (I am lazy). I got about 1/4 oz out of each and only vegged them for about 2 weeks. Most of the buds were small and honestly I harvested a week early. After that I tried to use bigger containers (1/2 gal paint buckets with 4 plants in each and the yield was only about 1/8 per plant so I would try to do a lot of little containers. I tried like hell to find square ones to save space but was too cheap to buy them from a garden supply company. If I had to do it again I would do it like Heath Robinson
