These are pictures of my first girl I took I believe yesterday. It is fruity pebbles her smell lives up to the name. But I don't want to miss prime harvest I am a little low o extra cash because I bought a bunch of lights for a veg room and a flower room and electric bill was just paid so lol. But the cool thing was I for got to clone her before flower so I took a risk and did it with a couple lower branches. And boom the rooted so now I have monster cropped version it's taking forever but the roots are huge. Let me know what you think

I actually use my bathroom as one of my rooms to grow in its my veg room. It was my flower room. It was nice until I gave my sister her 30 days to find a new place because I needed her room for my new flower room because all three are right next to each other and it's easier to secure. And monitor everything. But it is my first grow so I'm a little cautious of people more than pest lol.

Also I transplanted them but I don't think I set them deep enough in the soil. I mean they are fine but I was hoping for a more even level of soil. The way I transplanted and moved the dirt I have a little "mound" around the base of the plants. I know I could add more soil but I don't have anymore on hand and have to order some and wait for it to come. Could I maybe wait until the soil is dry, dig up plant, re adjust soil, then re add the plants. Or would it be better to just maintain them as they are and wait for more soil. Will probably be at least another week before I get the soil in as I have spent my "grow budget" for this week on a 6in inline fan with 440 cfm, a fan speed controller, ph meter, ducting, gorilla tape etc
I would just top dress your soil. Transplanting often shocks the plant and stunts growth. You do not wanna stress your ladies more than u need to. It should be fine just keep top dressing. When u wanted the soil will compact and lwer into the container. Also if your gonna buy anything first make it a pH meter and ppm meter, these are absolutely vital if you want premium smoke..

They are looking good but this is a help forum for someone else. Why not post in a journal post?

Got my exhaust fan yesterday. It's a 6" in inline fan with 440 cfm. It's WAAAYY bigger than I thought lol but it's not a problem. I probably only needed a 4" in inline fan but using logic I figured it made more sense to spend the extra $10 for the 6" in and the use a controller to dial it down if needed. I'd rather have more cfm than less imo. What is a problem though is all the damn air the fan moves lol. So I ordered a $20 fan speed controller which is shown in the pics which I have questions about. I've been spending the last few days reading and trying to get a solid answer but all the info I see is debatable and/or outdated. I don't know if the fan has a "brushed" or "brushless" motor as I don't know what these are or the difference. So my question is will this controller work PROPERLY with my fan, is it SAFE for my fan, and will it damage/decrease the life of my fan. Or should I send it back and spend $50+ for the other kind of controllers I see

It's ok lol. There is what I'm guessing an "old" site that basically is a seed/strain finder. Not too too many NEWER strains on there but there's more than PLENTY. You can adjust your search to look for strains with certain taste, smell, thc levels, smoke, yield, ease of growing etc etc. It was EXTREMELY useful to me being a first time growing lol. Just google strain/seed finder and dive in

Bought a couple things from the store today. Tape measure, ruler, and some of those bendy little arts and crafts thingies so I can start some lst. Measured whole bathroom and it's approximately (rounded up) 11x6x9. Fan I ordered was 6 in inline with 440 cfm. I'm thinking I could exchange that for a 4 in with a little lower cfm. The 6 in was only like $10 more and I'm a more is always better type of person plus I knew I would be getting a controller so I didn't think this was a problem as I could adjust my fan. But if getting a 4in will work more efficiently and be more savings wise as far as light bill I will reconsider. Other than that I don't mind keeping the 6 in and just adjusting properly

2 days since they were topped. Same day I topped them I started to notice what I guess is "tacoing" of the leaves. They were still green but looked a bit dryer to me than usual as well. Moved my light up and pointed the small stand fan directly at it. This seemed to be the problem as things are looking better now. The air from the fan blows on my plants WONDERFULLY and cool the hell out of the heat from the light. 2 birds with one stone! Taped some panda film around some cardboard to enclose the plants more and get the most reflection and light containment from my light. Already see how it boosts growth! Still haven't rigged up my inline fan yet because I'm nowhere near flowering (stench) and as I'm able to have the door open to replenish CO2 and my central ac and fan help with temperature control

4 days after being topped. Plants are exploding with growth. Think I HAVE to do some lst to get some light to more of the plants insides. Plan on switching to flower when they are 3 ft tall so final height will be around 6ft so from the looks of it I'm going to be vegging for atleast another month. I not only want them tall but bush as HELL as well . They are only about a month old from seed and I already notice odor. Carbon filter install in another week or so. I know the phresh filters are highly recommended but I was thinking of buying an empty filter for $20-30 and just filling it with my own activated carbon like they sell by the pet aisle in Wally World

Plants look great, keep it up! My first grow was in January and I micro-managed the hell out of it. Some of the best advice I initially ignored but proved to be true was to veg for minimal time and go to 12-12 as soon as possible. You will have another two weeks or so of vertical growth when you switch to 12-12, strain dependent, it could be aggressive growth. To me, your plants are large and healthy looking enough to flower right now. Want a harvest a month sooner? Flip now, learn how to flower, then start again when they are done. You will learn faster and smoke faster. Enjoy!

I don't think they are big enough personally lol. They are in five gallon pots and although they look big they are about the size of the pot to me. Maybe smaller. I need a good yield (atleast 3-4 oz's off each plant) lol so going by growth so far I think it will benefit me GREATLY to veg for a few more weeks. But I dunno. Y'all are more experienced than me
