Sigh, more nutrient issues

Roughly 3 weeks into flowering, buds are coming in nice but over the last 48 hrs I am seeing these brown spots appear rather quickly and I'm a bit worried. I have noticed it coming in visibly stronger over the last 12 hours. Looks to me like potassium or calmag defficiency.

Not sure why this would be, other than they got fed the other day with 5tbsp of Grow per gallon. I don't see any symptoms of excess nitrogen though. I know the ph of the Earthjuice mix is low but my understanding is the soil handles this. Any thoughts? Best route moving forward? Thanks.

How widespread is it? Is it just a couple leaves or a lot of them?

Did it start high or low on the plant?

The soil can handle the ph however too much of a swing can screw with its ability to buffer correctly at a certain point and ultimately lower the overall ph an start locking out nutrients.

It's on a good amount of leaves, on 1 of the 5 plants especially. I haven't taken them out but it seems like its mostly on the top.

@Lordhooha Definitely seems possible. I'm planning next working at ph 6.5. (My tap water is 7.8-8.2).

What's the ph of your earth juice mix? I never ph my shit anymore however I do supersoil and add very little

My EJ solution is normally around ph 4, which sounds low but their website says theres no need to adjust it...

Plus I used a stronger solution this last time. (I made another thread regarding yellowing and falling leaves.) EJ Grow only has an NPK of 2-1-1 so I figured it wouldn't hurt too much to try a strengthened mix. I didn't ph test the last feeding so I wouldn't be suprised if the ph was even lower and the cause of these symptoms.

What I think is happening since the symptom is at the top, your rh is too low for that kind of temp and is drying out the leaves. The plant is experiencing rapid evaporation and have a hard time cooling the upper leaves thus the drying/browning parts of the leaves similar to nute burn.

Do you have a fan going? If so, turn it off for a while and let rh go up.

That low over time will throw overall ph off and cause lockout also killing your soils ability to buffer correctly.

3 weeks in, prob a magnesium/sulfer issue. But your more than likely locked out not that your adding the wrong amounts. I'd run a PH test on your soil and see where your at. This would be the cheapest starting option :). I have never had RH issues so am unfamiliar with any deficiencies caused by that.

Yes, about the same. Although I have some purple's I'd like to lower the temps to test that theory first hand.
