Within the past couple days my ladies have been turning brown. Only in week 5ish. I have a 300W LED and I think it's burning the pistols but no sign of light burn on leaves. Same think happened during my last cycle and idk what I'm doing wrong. I lost all 4 plants last time, can't afford to lose these mommies. Someone plz help diagnose their sickness.20171009_105742.jpg 20171009_105736.jpg 20171009_105742.jpg 20171009_105736.jpg

Okay I will go turn the light off and use the flash. Right now they're getting the foxfarm fertilizer and they're in 7gal smart pots.

Hmmm they look very healthy overall in my opinion but I am no expert , I think I read something about pistils turning early under LEDs.

So you are saying the same thing happened last time and you ended up losing all 4 plants , what happened how did they die?How did it progress?

5th week of flower , they will likely be hungry for potassium and phosphorous , im no expert mang :(

What are ALL the feeds and soil/grow medium you are using

I have two fans on them right now but usually just one. I live in New England and our fall has been very warm and humid. Window is open. Room ranges between 68 degrees Fahrenheit- 76 degrees. The only thing they've been sprayed with is Neem oil.

Last time, they started turning brown around week 7ish and just burnt to shit. The buds were way underdeveloped and fried. I think I underwatered them and the light fried them. I also had an issue with spider mites last time.

Also when it happened last cycle, they just stopped growing once the pistols were burnt or whatever was wrong with them. These ladies were doing fucking amazing until this. I'm at a loss at the moment.

spraying foliars with lights on can cause hairs to burn but so can high humidity. do you Ph balance your water? also what type of grow medium

They're in soil. They've been thriving until now. I'm putting a dehumidafyer in the room to see if that helps. When we spray the neem, we do it right before the light goes out so it's not on there cooking, ya know?

What kind of soil and how strong are you mixing the nutrients? Are you using any flowering additives? Using too much can have the opposite effect. I've seen it before. You haven't provided enough information to really know what's going on in your soil. Foxfarm makes a variety of products. Which ones are you using?

make sure you dont spray the buds themselves with anything , ever , contact with pistils will also make them turn early , only coat the leaves/undersides thats it

I used biobizzs latex based leaf coat spray until early flower then stopped completely , really also recommend getting some soil thats meant for our little plant friend specificially , used biobizz all mix soil with grow , bloom and top max(flower stim/humic acid) feed and id never not use any of them again.

how much feed are they getting? they may have some kind of deficiency thats causing the buds to grow like that , 5weeks into flower they should be packing it on ideally :(

Just using the big bloom for the flowering plants for food. I haven't been overfeeding, if anything, maybe underfeeding. I know each strain is different but on average, how often should i feed them? I know it seems like a silly question but our biggest issue has been over/under watering/feeding.

They're being fed about once every two weeks... not enough?? We water about every 4-5 days depending on how the soil feels and how lite the pots feel. I don't give them the full amount that it says to give them because I'm scared to over do it and kill them. What other info would people like to help diagnose our ladies?

Also, we've never sprayed the buds themselves with Neem. Just the leaves, branches, and soil.

I posted a picture of the soil earlier in the post. I did post the wrong fertilizer. The one I posted is being used for my vegging plants. We are using the Big Bloom for food. I only do half the amount suggested. I've been thinking about switching the food. Also looking into Bat Guano. Any feedback regarding Bat Guano?? There is bat guano in the Big Bloom but big bloom lacks potassium and that's another thing that has me worried. I think they're being deprived of key nutrients that they need. Should I do a full serving of the Big bloom do u think? My fears and paranoia is what's making them sick. I just can't pinpoint the exact issue.

big bloom is a additive you should be using throughout the grow and lacks in NPK, tiger bloom is the foxfarm flower nutrient with full npk for budding. your vastly underfeeding if you just use half of the recommended big bloom with no actual flower nutes.

Oh myyy Goooooooodness. Good to know! I'm going to order that right now! I'm a beginner grower if you couldn't tell. That's probably the entirety of the issue right there.

I didn't even notice you said it was at 5 weeks flowering you should be further along in bud development so you are going to have a small yield this go. Have a look through the newbie central threads sometime you can learn a lot there. As for how often to feed you should pick up the pot and feel its weight full and dry and only water when you feel its near the dry weight.
