Okay! 9am and started the Big, Medium and small bud buckets..
Weighed 1 big bud and it was 14g.. Absolutely stinks and super sticky.
I'll upload more pics later when I get close to be done the de branching.
Bought 8 Rona buckets and I thought that was plenty. ( what a joke )

Yep, funny too, LOL. You are off to a good start. You would have needed a 5 ton truck if you wanted to buy enough mason jars to do that. I posit you will need at least another dozen of those buckets. Did you get a trimmer yet?
:weed:
No I am concentrating on de branching.
As soon as I go back outside and get overwhelmed again it's straight to buy trimmer. I have some family coming to help tonight so I'll probably do outside while they help out inside.
Wow.

They are awesome. I have a shaker/sifter with a 150 and a 100 micron screen. Makes some very nice kief for smoking or cooking. The added bonus for me is my arms are getting stronger, so I can do more push ups now. o_O
Hey Zoic, glad to hear you're sifting. What did you end up with for your rig? I have a few methods but always looking for a better way, I don't need more muscles in my arms, nor sore back but the plain DIY screen, rubbing the material across it is still the best method for yield.

I have a RYOT 7 inch box. I prefer to break up the bud loosely with a little hand grinder, then using only the fine screen I shake it around a bunch. The kief is a nice golden almost brown color and it is kick ass but low yield. After that I put it in a coffee grinder (dedicated) and powderize it. Then I use the plastic card to rub back and forth. High yield that way but the kief is a little more green than I want, but it makes decent hash. Whatever is left goes in medibles.

Throw some coins in with the bud on top of the screens, it keeps the bud agitated instead of clumping together. Shake the hell out of it.

Ok so you're still using the elbow grease method. I've been trying to find a decent automated method that gives me similar yields than running it manually through the screens. I use it for edibles so go through a lot of it. The small agitator machine I grabbed is pretty good but even throwing dimes in it for some additional agitation, I'm still only getting about 6-7% return running it twice and for hours. On the 180 screen, manually I can get up to 10-11% but damn it hurts my back.

I'm trying yet another method (DIY) with some sieve screens I grabbed on AliExpress, will post up my thoughts on it once I get everything in and try it. The critical part is whether the agitators will work and figuring out how to connect them to the sieve screens.
