I would say if you haven't watched the video, Please do, this is what Trump wants to do, undo everything Obama did, Bristol Bay should be left alone, they did the research now listen to them, Scott Pruitt instead of taking a whole half hour to make a choice that is going to hurt millions of people and only profit a few.
It really don't matter how many profit when your going to ruin a pristine place like Bristol Bay.... :(

How you going to stop it? Did you know we have destroyed salmon habitats by building dams? But that only really effects native Americans and they don't matter to you.

The opposition to the Pebble Mine is virtually universal amongst the Native communities, fishermen, outdoorsmen and many Alaskans. This has been going on near a decade now for many valid reasons.
We hear radio ads daily opposing it. Local news has largely been quiet on any new developments. They'd been beaten back pretty soundly.

It's in the worst possible place-the heart of the salmon watershed.

The leeching chemicals are toxic.

The containment basin is porous.

The dam, one of the largest earthen dams proposed is... Earthen. They have history of failing.

So phuk Pebble.

I had a copy of this circulating years ago. I don't know if it's on Netflix. It's a great documentary about the residents and fisherman in the path of the mine. Red Gold. This is a you tube trailer.

Well as you know there's nothing I can do about it here where I live, but It was under protection until one of Trump's cronies just undid all that these Scientists did the Research on and Proved it would put 14000 fishermen out of work and kill all the Sockeye Salmon forever in that area. (forever no return)

Divide into a thousand parcels, allow 10 years for development and reveg, then it's the next parcels turn upon completion of 100% clean up.
