For 2 QB 304s at 24" in a 3x4 what watts should i be at?

Im at 18 days of 12/12 and i havent ventured much over 140 watts since the first few days when i burned em at 200.

I even did a day at 110w total, they just stretched a little more.

Kinda need a ballpark to play with. I feel like im probably never gonna go much more than 200 watts

If you are sure the quantums began cooking them at 200 , and you have happy plants now , you can either stay put or bump slightly ... As long as you got good canopy space , you will be golden.

I can run 205w ( normally ) in 3x3 and rarely push over 300 ( Max 420 ) , they will bleach your shit for sure . Maybe your strains are a bit sensitive to certain light levels ... I say bump up slightly (20-30 W ) and watch plants. If leaf sets are at least horizontal or praying , then leave it.

Hey guys was wondering if you can help me out.

I have been trying to find a diy build on a frame for the qb's

I saw one that used a square rod with a channel you would put a square nut in to fasten stuff to the rod

Which QBs? Will you be using HLG's heatsinks?

I use 1/2" aluminum channel for my lights. I simply drilled through the cross brace and frame rails and used a 1/" machine screw and acorn nuts. I used an 1/8" eye bolt, double nutted on each end to connect hangers.
A square nut inside the frame would work also. I spaced my boards about 8" apart. I drilled holes and put a screw through the frame at the end of each board to keep them from sliding. The frame and boards with heatsinks is very light!

pics don't show the stop screws

guys is there any big difference between a 2board setup vs 3board setup with hlg-240? do those extra lumens/watt mean that much?

has anyone ever flowered under 5000K. I'm just wondering if i could flower an auto under it, or i should remove a board from 3board rig and let the big tent finish last 10 days of flowering with 2 boards, and place the 3000K over the auto.

For the record, plants are flowering like a charm under these boards. went 8" from canopy cause of stretching without burning or fading... love them.

Usually aroung 14-16" good height from canopy. Best measure PPFD / PAR numbers and get in
800-900 range......Just a thought.

Going to clone that scraggly ducksfoot as soon as she finishes recovering, she's doing well. Going to chop up the whole plant into clones as duck is a bitch to clone, 20-30% sucess rate....... and I've tried every trick I could find... best so far has been an aero cloner, BUT.... even with good roots from the cloner, they die in the pot. In fact, that's a trait of duck ( at least real ducksfoot, not that Wally duck strain ), the clones die and a new plant sprouts from the base!
