true that! i also use their ph pens and have one of their combi units, they dont mess about!
I had the combi for years... till I broke it
The truncheon is bullet proof tho.
Last pH meter i used was Essentials, in my hydro days when it was essential but i gave it to a friend in need as im more soil/soiless based now.
Tap water pH is drifts between 7.1 - 7.4 , ec 0.3.
Your automatic setup will be a class act when it's fine tuned.
Only think I would add is a remote robot that could physically tuck branches under the net whilst you are lying on a beach in Columbia directing it all from your phone!
I've got one..... it's called the wife

On a slightly different note..... I have 2 pc fans they are 0.16A 12V DC and I want to run them off of the mains for a veg cab. They have 3 wires with a connector on the end - see attached pic - can you please tell me the best way to set this up? I'll need some kind of converter/power supply I know. Ideally I'd like to run them off of the 1 mains plug rather than each fan needing its' own plug.

Thanks in advance for any advice lads :)

haha, not really .........................Living Organic Soil, Recycled Organic Living Soil
Used to do a bit of that years ago as per Ed Rosentals book I had in the eighties.
Collected seaweed, wood ash, horse shite, cow shite, egg shells ,grass clippings leaf mould and a big compost bin. Soaked nettles in buckets far weeks for liquid feed etc.
I still use the compost for my roses and my garden plants .
More for dressing as the compost can be too hot for young plants I find.
I do recycle my bio bizz soil, for instance I grew some nice spuds in it this year.

You need ac to dc driver if you want to run it at off the mains. Go through that draw of old phone chargers every body has and find a 12v one and solder/crimp/joint together . The fan will fail eventually if it isnt a good one as they aint designed to run 24/7 they always overheat.

Molex connector? I think.
You can discard the yellow wire.
Cut the wires , Strips them back and use spade connectors or solder them together and tape them up, or use wagos connectors or terminal blocks
You can use a meanwell 12 12 apv driver to drive a couple of them.

So just to clarify - I'm a total dunce at electrics - connect the 2 red wires together and the 2 black and then connect those to the driver - black to black and red to red with this driver?

@Moflow @coreywebster @Randomblame hey guys I need some quick advice please. I want to order a HLG-320H-48A but there is no stock on TME website. Other websites are much more expensive. TME have the B version. I know I'll need a potentiometer to dim the driver but I don't know what I need to order and how easy/difficult it is to fit the pot? Can you advise me please? Do I need to do any soldering? I've not got any solder eqpt...or experience of soldering!
Thanks for your help......thanks @lukio for letting me use your thread as a messaging system :D
