Hey bro not an argument here I'm just wanting info.how do you measure your claims.par or what?what type of meter do you use?just interested as you know leds are made the same.thanks.do you have a link to your lights or parts list?

If you are asking about the quantums, check out horticultural lighting group website. Tons of info. They have test results posted for one of the kits they sell. I believe it uses something like 550+ watts. The test was conducted by an independant lab. These folks are putting out solid products. The kits they sell and all the info available now really makes it almost dummy-proof.

8 304s @ 3000k and 8 288s @ 2700k. I've had them running at 100w so far but today I turned them up to 230w. Even at 100w Bud density won't be an issue as far as I can tell. Trichs are still mostly clear. Could start flushing as early as a week. Should be harvesting 1st week of Dec. Planning on 4 day dry and freeze curing...if you are on the fence about quantums... I bought 16 260 sets from growerslights.com and things are lovely. Kurt is a stand up guy and answered all my neurotic questions. His customer service is top notch. Quantums and GL.com all the way. No doubt. 100%. Do it now! (Arnold voice)

anyone know of a 24 volt, 5amp driver that isn't Chinese junk and cost less than the $45 dollars Meanwell wants?
I got a couple meanwell LRS-75's and they kill it for single qb120s. I'm sure the lrs-150 will do the same for two. They are cheap and dimmable.

Quantum " FEMMY POLLEN PLANT " update ....

Well , I srarted a spare fem seed ( blue dream ) that I started spraying Tiresas Mist
once a day for about 2 weeks when she sexed out under 12/12. She was put in a small pot ( my preference at the time ) and grew to about 18" .... She was under the quantum up to the point of sexing and then moved to a flouro light for the spraying.

There was no way way I was gonna risk knocking up any plants under the quantums and the already flowering plants I have.

She began bursting a few so I carefully cut her at the stalk , clipped the fans and cut again in half inside a large gallon ziplock .... I close bag and shake ... This frees the flowers and fine yellow pollen. I will burp the bag as it dries out ... Shaking bag to OPEN them to release pollen ..... There is some visible pollen collecting at bottom corners of bag.
Once all flowers drop off , I will pull stems out. Then continue to rub crush the rest ,
I swiped a long narrow makeup brush that will be the application tool. So now I got some Sativa FEMMY pollen that I am gonna brush on my Auto Blue Dream that is going into week 2 of flower. The Godfather OG will be another candidate....

And you have never had a problem with the moisture inside the bag sterilizing the pollen?

ok sirtwistsalot was running 2 boards at 100watts (50watts per board) x 16 drivers

now hes up to near max at 231watts (115 per board) max is at 260 watts

coverage on a 2 board kitt is good with a 3x3 or 4x2 tent

I have 4 boards dedicated to each 4x4 screen. 8 screens total. 8'x16' lighted footprint. Weekly perpetual setup.1 screen per week harvested (potential) 2 1/2 weeks away from 1st harvest. It's been a long 5 months. Once I get things cured and turned around I'll make those glaring improvements I know yall see; paint, mylar etc.

Strictly just for vegging my 3×3. Measuring 29"×25" and weighing in at a whopping 4.8lbs fully dressed. I give you, "The VEdGe Hammer". I was high & that was the best I could come up with. It's 4- 4000k QB120's wired in parallel, powered by a Meanwell ELG-240-24A. It's dimmable and able to push 240watts. Each board has an inline 3A fuse just in case, which I don't really think is needed for my driver. One QB came disconnected while I was measuring current and did not notice any change in the others nor did any fuses blow. It's spliced together w/2 wago's in the center bar. The ground wire is connected in there too which grounds the frame and qb's to the case of the driver. And it has an IEC plug for easy connect to my driver. This thing will veg a 4×4 no problem. First of all I want to thank you and @Humple for guiding me on how to build the 120s with Home Depot parts.

Was just wondering what those hooks are called? Cant find them at the store at all , nor do any of the employees know what I am tryng to describe..
