I DECIDED TO HELP THE RUNT TONIGHT. I PUT IT OUT ITS MISERY, I PULLED IT. I PULLED IT OUT THE BIG POT ON WED THE 8TH. WHEN I PUT THE SEEDLING IN A CUP I ADDED MYCORRHIZA. IT WAS REALLY STRUGGLING. I THINK I SHOULD HAVE LET IT GERM A LITTLE LONGER, LIVE AND LEARN. BUT WHEN I PULLED IT THE MYCO WAS ALREADY GOING TO WORK ON THE ROOT, BUT THATS ALL IT WAS A ROOT! PRETTY INTERESTING HOW THESE THINGS WORK. THE OTHER 2 PLANTS SEEM TO BE ADJUSTING FINE TO THE NEW CONDITIONS.
Was still viable, just needed time for the myco to work. It had root zone shock.

FFOF soil is hot for seedlings, needs to be cut. Most of the time that is.

You can hook up a cheap cob by grabbing a par31 led spotlight, plug to socket adapter and a power strip less than 20$. Useful for seedlings and clones and sheet. Later on when you are up you can switch to a real CoB setup or hit up Craigslist list and grab a 400, 600, 1000 dial a watt digital ballast and hood for the low if you offer right.

I grab gear off CL on the reg super cheap. Ex got 2 1k digi sun ballasts for 80$ recently. Before I got 2 dial a watts plus a 4x8 tent, hood and lamps, 2 fans, blue lab test pens, pots for 150$ resale what you don't want make some change in he process flipping it up to the best gear you want.

The yellowing looks to be either from over watering, or N deficiency. They can resemble each other however. The fact that your clytedones are yellowed as well indicate a need for feed to me. What are you using for nutes? Also, 140w led will work, but if you really want to get something out of these ladies, you will definitely need more light. It wouldn't hurt to add a few T5 lights into the mix. My 4' 8 tube is pushing over 400w. You could get away with 2 4' 2 tube fixtures and each 1 is just under what that led is pushing. You would end up with much better quality as well in my experience.
im going to water today, should I add the fox farm big bloom as a intro to nutes, since it is real light as far as npk ratio? the fox farm feeding chart says 6 tsp. for the first 3 weeks. iwas thinking maybe half to start so 3 tsp to a gallon to start light?

Less is always better than more.

You can always add more but you can't take any back.

ok so just fed the kids. I went with 2 tsp of big bloom, watered till I seen runoff. I only went with 2 tsp because the bottle recommended that the mix be 1tsp per gal for seedlings. I think they are a lil past seedling being that today is actually 3 weeks since the broke ground. the nutes were ph. to 6.72 and 356 ppm. I checked the runoff water and it 6.53 ph. and 523 ppm. does this sound about right?

Technically they are seedlings until they show their 1st fully bladed leaf set. If the main fans are 7 blade leaves, then when you see a 7 bladed leaf set you are officially in veg. Also, if I am reading it right, Big Bloom has 0 N. Not good! You need something like their Grow Big. Anything that has a higher N to PK ratio is best!

ok cool. I have the big grow also so I will add some of that to the cocktail next feeding. im thinking every 4-5 days depending on the weight and dryness of the soil. and there should be N in the soil right? the ocean forest is fresh as in this Thursday they were trans to the new soil. but on the next feeding I will def add the big grow!! @Raven121415 thanks for all the help, you the best!

Ok, I guess I missed that part where you were using Ocean Forrest. Lol I think the Big Bloom should suffice nicely with that soil for now. I have never used their soil myself. I build my own soils and ammend them. I am 100% organic on this new run and my current grow that is finishing up. Definitely give them a week minimum to see how they addapt to that soil. I have heard it can cause problems for seedlings, but I have heard they often pull out fine also. I know FF claims to be organic, but that isn't 100% true. If you really want to make growing easier, less work, and obtain some serious quality smoke, you owe it to yourself to head on over to the organics section on here. I used chem nutes my 1st run indoors and I had way to many issues. Lol I am now just getting my soils dialed in a bit better, and should be pulling good weight on this run for a semi beginner. My 1st ever indoor grow was under T5, T8, and cfl. Used a mixed spectrum with more blue than red and still pulled 1 oz per plant of some FIRE! I know there is a FF feeding schedule out there somewhere. I would probably google it and use it. Kinda helps take the guess work out, especially for beginners!

nice! I got a feeding schedule, I've heard that ocean forest can be troublesome for seedling also but the kids seem to like it! compared to patio plus "Compton" they must be in "Palos Verdes" now! hahahah!! but seriously, I think they are digging the new soil. the clone is perking up. and the bag seed are showing more growth than before, probably due to the fact the conditions are favorable now.

I was told by a very reputable grower that 75% of your success in growing is environment and lighting. You start to learn what the signs of different issues look like and learn to fix them in an appropriate and timely manor as you go. Glad to hear things are turning around for you! I am just patiently waiting for my harvest in the next week or 2.

we shall see!! I popped the germed seed in soil on Saturday night and today I checked on it and the damn taproot was popping out the soil. I know I put the taproot down. I gently picked it up and put the taproot down and the bean sticking out. will see how this goes.

Ok, I read through all this thread and I gotta say....

Chill out on your plants dude...

Don't cheap out on soil or nutes.

Avoid bro-science, as it'll save you money.

Stop over watering your plants.

Be patient.

For stoners, people on here sure get hyper reactive when growing...

If you think you know what's going on, before you react, check to see if you are wrong, then again, do that 10 times... when you come to the same conclusion all 10 times, then action in a planned, methodical way.

Don't rip a seedling out cause it's overwatered (but still alive), then dig a bean up cause you see a taproot coming out the top of the soil!!

Go smoke a bowl before you do anything with your plants, you gotta chill a bit :P
