My tents are both 2x2, a 600W would both be wasted and fry up my girls. Max I can go is 250W in that space. When funds allow, I'll be upgrading but for now, once I'm producing enough bud for self sufficiency, that's me happy.

400w and up you exhaust a bit?

Insulation is expensive. I use the foil backed sheets and have the foil on the inside as its a reflector. Spend thousandths insulating my shed and double roofing it. The radiator sheets they sell in aldi/lidl is ok for smal areas..

Light burn, no amount of extra exhaust power could fix that. I grow 2 plants in each tent, 1 veg, 1 flower. I know I could comfortably fit 4 in the veg tent but even 3 in the flower tent is a tight squeeze under a scrog net. Working on the pots in the back is a pain in the hole when there's too much foliage.
I'm happy with my little set up for now, I've pretty much got a perpetual grow going now which was always the plan. Aside from the hubby, there's only 2-3 people I give samples to so I don't need massive yields. It also forces me to limit my bud to make a plant last a month (harvest every 2), and for that, my lungs thank me.

I'm thinking leds will be my next big investment. C'mon lotto!

it can be expensive for big areas, but battleing condensation at late flower leads to rot and thats wasted time and effort so its needed at the start or at least by flipping the lights as a bad case can slow plants down (transpiration etc) if you remember the last grow i had on here buds i had terrible condensation problems in winter and lost half the blackjack to mould, summer grow filled jars but the wait... and the shit street weed after smoking little green flakes of pure heaven..

light burn at 2 meters? or did i read the dimensions wrong, 2m width +depth, 2m in height...

perpetual is a dream i`ve yet to achive or get close to, i seem to either overlap a shitload and then do nothing for ages or dribs and drabs one and two at a time with little to no veg, give same as ou few lads like my sparkie bud and few car lads, keeps the wifes car going for free.. massive yeilds are great and gram a watt growers and all that jazz, long as i see a decent amount of dry weed im happy and i`ve never been disapointed hahahahaha.....

Lol, no. 2ft x 2ft, and 1.4m height.

I have my grows planned to a tee, 2mths in veg before I move them to flower for another 2mths, give or take. A week before they're switched, I start my next 2. I journal everything on a spreadsheet, a fresh template for each new grow, broken into weekly segments and it's even colour coordinated for veg, flower and harvest!
It's easy to keep tabs on everything when it's laid out like that, just takes a little planning.

I'm due to harvest between 10th and 17th of December, so when I move the girls in veg to flower, that will be my first official perpetual harvest. The second ballast and tent were only added in September.

1.4m can handle 1000w mate
Oh I don't doubt that for a second! But the square footage of my tents is tiny, they're lite versions, literally the next size up from a propagator. Anything above 250w would be a waste in that size space really...

Wake and bake - there is no finer way to start the day man. I'm so jealous, it's been nearly 2yrs since my last wake and bake session. And all day session. Stoopid parental responsibility.
