one of the biggest things in coco is to remember thats its NOT hydro, and its NOT soil. it has its own requirements and quirks. if you ph to 5.8, you're going to have bad Mag problems. you want to ph to 6.1.
if the maker of your coco pre charges it, you can pretty much use it without worrying about anything, if they don't you not only have to give it extra C and Mag, you have to be aware that once its full, those things all of a sudden become very easy for your plants to get, as the coco will quit absorbing it. that usually happens about the third week of flower. (at least in my experience)
pure coco is very heavy, even though it has excellent aeration. i like to mix in at least 30% perlite to aid drainage.

These are done in 1 gallon Coco/perlite using Nectar for the God's nutes the Greek feeding schedule. Under a 500w COB grow light I built. See this is a few months old if still have any questions I'll help if I can

I say treat your coco just like hydro and you can have amazing results.
I grew this plant Drain To Waste using the Lucas Formula with CalMagic @ 900 ppm, fed 3 times daily.
Swamp Boys - Horace (Banana Og x Nigerian Haze) 5 gallons straight coco 12 weeks in flower.
Harvested 12 oz

This was grown from seed and they vegged about 3 weeks under a hps after spending the seedling stage under T5's.
I hand watered daily during veg and turned her at about 16 inches. She stretched over 3x for the first month and I had to supercrop her repeatedly to keep her under 4 feet.

My veg time varies but im vegging longer now & in bigger pots. Vegging while the flowering tents are full then when the run is over I have some nicely vegged & trained plants. So pretty much at least 5-6 weeks veg.

I like to supercrop as well but started doing it along with the manifold style of growing so I have 8 main colas.

I bet it was the haze that made her stretch so much but looks like you handled her well @Bakersfield It funny the sativas im currently running bush out more than stretching up. Im due to run a good haze cross soon!

I try to do that as well. Start my seeds a week or 2 into flower and by the time the flower room opens up I'm ready to put the new ones in.
Those Swamp Boys fems were weird maybe 2 out of the 6 pack had real vigor and the other 4 were hohum. Some serious hybrid vigor. They were heavy feeders Not 2 hazey in the final product, but still vibrant.
I also reuse my coco Not really sure if that helps or hinders

Thanks.
Once your plants have established a good root ball and If you have adequate drainage, you can water coco as often as you like, but try not to let it dry out, like you would soil. Drying out causes nutrient imbalances from my experience.
