I pollinated a bs auto, she was a beauty with red hairs throughout grow, with some pollen from a purple sativa. Harvested the seeds about a month ago. Popped one in a jiffy pellet on November 12. She came up a couple days ago. Gonna be cool to see what magic this red haired beauty comes up with.

Ok mate cheers I've read 4-6wks so I'll play safe and go 6, did you wack yours in the fridge straight after harvest or leave them in a cool dark place for a few days then wack them in the fridge?, I heard the fridge speeds up the waiting time to germinate cheers

I put my seeds into a zip lock baggie. No fridge.

Cheers mate,i found a good way to make sure no moisture gets in by using old seed holder's From previous seeds I've owned, they had silicon balls in them to absorb any moisture and a sponge that Push fits in the end and a air tight cap to Keep it sealed i left them out for a few days in a dark cool place in a old plastic jewellery box then put them in the containers i got and now in the fridge, I hope I get a good hybrid now with the odor of the psychosis and the yield of ssdd

I harvest seeds pretty well with every run (on purpose - lol). I've tried from 1 week to 6 weeks and 4 weeks from when you harvest seems to be the line where germination is pretty well 100%.

There's exceptions for sure, I've had some pop after a week or two. I just found overall after 4 weeks they were pretty well guaranteed to pop so I try and wait. Sometimes the suspense of a new cross gets the better of me though ;)

20171224_180030.jpg 20171224_180150.jpg this year i set out a male & a female on april first & harvested seeds in october/november, some of the most beautiful seeds i have ever seen. a buddy kept asking to smoke the bud that produced them, i had to continuously tell him there is no bud, since i set them out there together, the female had no chance to produce bud at all.

what week of flower do you introduce pollen?
Somewhere between 18-24, typically right around 21. I just hit a couple coming up that set their buds quick, they were day 19 when I hit them Friday night. 4 weeks from harvest seem to cover it, 5 is better. I have a couple of 7 week finishers that I hit around day 20 and they mature the seeds fine.

Examples of the two were hit at day 19 a couple of days ago, that's around the maturity I like to see when I hit them.

While this is apparently not common, I had seeds actually germinate within the still growing bud in which they were formed. I found three popped seeds during my last seed harvest that were trying to grow right there in the bud. In all my years I've never seen this happen before. Couldn't find anything when I searched online, so it must be a rarity indeed. I can post pics later tonight if anyone is interested in seeing them.

high humidity in the room, still foliar feeding ?

No foliar feeding at all. Humidity and lack of air movement are surely the culprits and due to my own neglect. I hate to admit it, but i dont give my seeded girls anywhere near the same attention that I give to my main crop. They're separate from each other and my main tent is dialed in. But u know, the seeds turn out fine every time even without making sure conditions are perfect.
