True, but the inefficiencies of those cheap panels will cost you in the long run. That 135w kit from HLG is what you want.

I've done 12/12 from seed easily gets 2-3 foot plants in soil

I wasn't originally trying to be a smartass you just decided to get defensive instead of taking good advice. Those plants are not impressive they look ok for a cheap blurple led I've grown a bunch just like that cobs an quantum boards work better anything else is a waste of money I know because I wasted a couple thousand to find out.
I wouldve had bigger plabts if id wanted them. I do not. I have a small space and get 2oz per plant I do t have room for 3 ft plants. The only useful input u gave me was what u like cobs.

Yea if I get a 4x4x7 tent and can use a 5 gallon bucket anybody can get those results with proper nutrition and environment. I asked for light tips. Not disrespectful comment from so.done with a 10x10 grow lol I'm in a 2x4x4 space having 3 ft of plant in a 4 ft tall tent ain't happenin

Oh you said 2x4x6.... I told you you don't have the money to fill that tent without doing diy. That is a fact. You can spend 200 on any light you want it will grow bud in the tent but will not be ideal.

My new tent will be 6 or 7 feet. My light now produces identical results as a platinum diamond led of equal actual wattage. My mentor uses them he has 3 in his 2x4x7

We figured cost wise he was paying 200 $ more for 5 yr warranty whereas mine has a 1 year warranty

Yeah the only problem is those lights are terrible if I matched a platinum led I would call that grow a failure. And he probably spent 1k on those lights you can really max that tent out for $400-$600 but 200 just won't do it

So your saying the advanced platinum leds are shit as well? If a 200$ light isn't good to u and a 400$ high end led is not good, please tell me what will give me better yields running the same watts

I think your very close on price, I think ill b in the 300 range, I like cobs bc its proven plants can take higher par from them bc of their spectrum range.

How does 9 ounces (plus losses to budrot) from one plant in a 2x4 space sound?

No more than three feet of vertical height. 250W of second tier Samsung strips. That was a mainline experiment that vegged far longer (63 days) than my usual <30 days. The great thing about strips is you can actually let them get within a few inches.

Then there was his one:

Vegged for 26 days. Yield was just under 8 ounces, again it would have been more if not for budrot.

Instead of pruning them to keep them short, try letting them grow a little taller, then supercrop them flat like this:

Your going to laugh at this post when you learn more about led. Any cob from the last few years or any of the Samsung lm561 diodes will far outperform those lights. The first time you turn one on you will know they work better.

The reason i didnt do that was bc I wanted multiple strains at once for a variety instead of smoking the same shit for 2 or 3 months, bc I debated on setting the pot all the way to one side and train it across the whole tent

Thanks I'm definately gonna go cob, probably 4 100 watt single cobs is what I'm thinkin, 1 for each plant

But yea like u said closer to 400, I asked for 200$ light bc I planned on buying at least 2 lights for better spread
