Without me having to go back and read 9 pages.... Can you give me you thoughts on mega crop? I'm about to pull the trigger on some for my new rdwc setup. Thanks.
I have no problems with megacrop I tried it on my other strain for a week instead of gh none of my growth seems to be lacking I will be switching over for these reasons,#1 is the ease of use #2 it works #3 it's priced economical & it stores good it's a bit early in my grow to go out on a limb & give it a standing ovation I look to hydro red & chaos hunter for input as they've completed grows of it my threads tend to be long so I encourage anyone with questions to ask & I'll do my best to answer IMG_4572.JPGIMG_4574.JPG

Thanks man. I agree the price and simplicity are what I'm taking notice of. I haven't heard anything bad about it yet, so I guess I'm in. Thanks for the reply bud.

unless something seriously screws up this is the direction I'm going I've had temperature problems this grow but not a problem that has been nutrient related & this grow is steadily improving, here is today's picsIMG_4583.JPGIMG_4584.JPG

have u had any big problem with mega crop? feeding to much? and would you recommend using it by itself or with supplements ?
I haven't had any problems right now I'm feeding 3 grams to a gallon of tap water & as tupur is a coco based medium I'm using calmag as well this is all I'm gonna use I plan on flipping Valentine's Day & I'll be upping the nutes but so far all is cool

That nets filling in nicely herc.

I don't know about you, but I got the outdoor bug something fierce. I've been doing alot of research on micro farming and thinking about how I can optimize my yard. When I left the family farm years ago down south, I never thought I'd miss it. Yet here I am itching to implement what I know from working the farm to making extra income from my backyard. That said, small steps, build a greenhouse this summer or next for a nursery and go from there.

As far as my secret garden goes, everything is on autopilot now that I'm not dealing with a freezing basement anymore.

I'd still like to see you hit a lb on a single plant.

I grow a plant or 2 outdoors but the back of my yard borders the only city park in this town so it's hard that's why I try to keep my indoors stuff so efficient I'm gearing up for a 3rd tent & a potential to harvest perpetual about every 45 days possibly less , getting closer all the time my yield is constant improving small efficiency oriented grows that yield good is the direction my grows are headed & around here your product being a notch better than most of everyone else's stuff is a good thing IMG_4593.JPGIMG_4606.JPG

I bumped the calmag & nutes up to 900ppm @ 4gr.megacrop per gal. the hard part of winter is pretty much done & im gearing up to put the led back in the tent & preparing to flip on Valentine's Day the megacrop comes out a ph. of 6.2 every time needs very little adjustment IMG_4616.JPG IMG_4623.JPG

Thanks for sharing. You have some really nice grows going.

Are all your stems that purple? They might benefit from more P or making adjustments for more optimum P uptake. What PH are you adjusting your nutrients solution to?

I have also heard of them turning that color under LED lights from a pigment reaction so I could be totally wrong if they were clones from a LED mom or something.

Sorry if this has already been covered I'm still reading through the thread.

Regards

You can try doing small PH changes at your feeding time. I keep my mix from 5.8-6.0 PH with the 5.9's being my typical happy place since I figure with a +/- 2% meter error Im still in the peak uptake ranges and can possibly find a particular PH that they are happiest with. With the slight variations below 6.0 you might get better uptake of P and Mn as well. Your plant looks good healthy in the picture above except for a little bit of clawing and Im not positive but maybe see some tip burn starting. Im not familiar with the Bud Explosion so I can't offer anything on that.

I've found 2 other grows of this strain (candyland) that seem to have purple stems as well , I'm still filling the screen & she still seems to be a finicky feeder I'm flipping Valentine's Day come hell or high water lol...IMG_4671.JPGIMG_4673.JPG

You got the skills my friend. Hey did you defoliate? Or does she just let that much light through naturally?
